The Obama administration wants to keep people collecting Social Security benefits from owning guns if it is determined they are unable to manage their own affairs, the Los Angeles Times reported.
The push, which could potentially affect millions whose monthly disability payments are handled by others, is intended to bring the Social Security Administration in line with laws that prevent gun sales to felons, drug addicts, immigrants in the United States illegally, and others, according to the paper.

The NRA doesn't care about the safety of caregivers and family who are most at risk from the demented gun owner. The outrage expressed that an elder who can't balance a checkbook anymore would have their guns taken from them is a lie and meant to inflame unquestioning fools like you. Said elder would not be deprived of their weapon based upon the above criteria. It would be a flag for a background check. The NRA has come out to say that the government isn't doing enough to keep guns out of the hands of the incompetent or mentally ill, like the guy that shot up a school last year. Then they do everything they can to prevent background checks from happening.

Sky, We didn't have TV for a lot of my young years, so no I didn't watch WWF. We put up a TV antenna on top of a hill and barely got one channel, it would fade in and out and was all fuzzy.
