2 years later, thanks to deficit spending and lowered interest rates, all the angry people forgot about the recession and Ronny was re-elected

Your numbers are correct, but todays numbers are not, you see Clinton made huge changes to the way all the economic/labor statistics were formulated, so todays numbers do not correlate with yesteryears numbers. Any number you see attributed to Obama, is a bastardized one. Unemployment 10%, more like 17%. Inflation at 2.3% is really more like 40% when you consider food and energy. Sure houses have gone down in price, and those shiny new caterpiller bulldozers are cheaper, but you don't NEED those. Its all just a big joke on the lowly American citizen, we get SOOOO taken advantage of at every turn. Forced to pay for the malfeasance of others, and thats not enough so they go and hire 16,000 more IRS agents to screw with your life to make sure they are wringing every last red penny out of you.
Also remember that Reagan Had a Economy and a country that actually had some Wealth, we were the number one creditor and the Dollar was strong. He implemented a policy to take us out of the beginning of an inflationary collapse by raising interest rates. Sure it caused great pain to some, but it was all over in a couple of years and thats what started the 80's decadence. Reagan knew full well that a country in our current shape could never have those policies of credit expansion.
Obama on the other hand was given the impossible to do, because if you took every penny ever made by anyone in the USA in the last 235 years and added it all together to pay off our debt, the government would still be totally bankrupt. Inflation is the only option. Congress has spent like a drunken sailor on new years eve for the last 2 generations. Armed conflict on foreign soil is so common that its just taken for granted that we will always be somewhere killing other people for their resources which we covet. No one even blinks an eye when you hear that 150,000 Iraqi and Afghan civilians have been killed, just another day. Its taken for granted so much that they have a separate budget that doesn't count against us anymore, how laughable. They forgot to take note of all the blood spilled in their bean counting.
Its Congress' fault, not any singular president or policy that got us here, only congress can spend the money.
