-Hi ive been growing for some time now.using the full foxfarm line. I also until recently have been using a 0-50-30 (grotek-monster bloom) which is comparable to beastiez..and i use another product with is comparable to open sesame. I dont think my finished product is tasting as good as it should.
-With that said,,i flush in soil for at least 2 weeks before harvest, dry and cure for a month in jars.
-My hypothesis is tha the 0-50-30 dry powder might be leaving a residue?? I also use advanced nurtirents overdrive, the 2nd half of flowering, which is supposed to be organic as well..
-in flowering i also use sucanat sugar as my carb boost
so any suggestions on how to improve taste,or a reason why u think its not tasting up to par,,you organic people are all about taste..and im done with chemicals!!BTW i dont belive tiger bloom is organic

fox farms open sesame , beastie bloomz and cha-ching. for the last 2 weeks i give water with cha-ching all the way up to harvest. im getting good flavor and pretty, sugary nugs. im a first time grower my first batch is hang right now. And oh boy, i have to say not bad for my first time.

one of the reasons i went with organics is not having to flush to much prior to harvest. And , yes, i do know that the FF open sesame, beastie bloomz & cha-ching are not organic, they are "organic based". But i feel the benefits are too great and almost idiot proof.:bigjoint:

You are correct that TigerBloom is not 100% organic. It is organic-based, and contains a fair amount of organic ingredients such as earthworm castings and kelp, but it also contains several non-organic ingredients as well.

One of the things you can do to improve the taste of your buds is to use a product like Clearex by Botanicare. Clearex is a salt-leaching solution that safely breaks up and eliminates nutrient salt deposits in the soil. I use it during the last two weeks before harvesting as a part of my flushing routine. I've found that it removes much more residual nutrient salts than just flushing with clean water. The result is wonderfully-tasting, clean smoke with that unmistakeable, earthy organic flavor. My weed burns down to an ultra-fine white ash devoid of any residual nutrients or chemicals. Yum!

No, I do a single heavy treatment two weeks prior to harvest. It's actually the first watering of my flushing routine. Three weeks before harvest my plants get their last watering with my nutrient solution. The following week they get treated with Clearex. For the last two weeks before harvest they get plain RO-filtered water.

i don't think my hydro store carry's botanicare clearex,,but i think they carry florakleen, isnt it the same thing,,,besides botanicare clearex, are there any other good flushing agents?

Yeah, it serves the same purpose as FloraKleen, and that is to break up and eliminate residual nutrient salts leftover in the soil from repeated feedings. I've never used FloraKleen, so I can't testify to its effectiveness, but both products make the same claims and both are made by reputable manufacturers (Botanicare make Clearex, and General Hydroponics make FloraKleen).

You were given incorrect information by the guy at your hydro shop. Both Clearex and FloraKleen are intended for use in hydroponic as well as soil applications. The Botanicare website clearly describes how to use Clearex in both soil and hydro. And according to the General Hydroponics website, FloraKleen is "the economical choice for maintaining your plants in both hydroponic and soil-based environments".

You might want to let the guy at the hydro shop know that his ignorance is appalling given that he supposedly does this shit for a living. It always pisses me off when the so-called experts people look to for professional, reliable information are less knowledgeable than the people who are seeking assistance.

Flush away bro.
