Foxfarm questions

Wassup. Never grown just planning right now. I’ve seen a lot of ppl saying foxfarm lasts the first little bit, and my question is where do you go once that soil’s no good. Put it into a new bucket of foxfarm? That seems easier than adding whichever nutrients individually, considering I don’t know shit about gardening.
is that way more expensive or sumn bc I haven’t heard anyone recommend that.
Also about how much in soil costs would I be looking at for the full grow of 4 plants in 7 gallon containers. If you know a bulk plug or are a bulk plug for the foxfarm lmk too

you will be fine with one bag of happy frog and one bag of ocean forest. mix then together and that should be good for 7 gallons i fill 3 10 gallons with it as for the soil going bad and reusing it? i was thinking of asking that too

Do you want us to grow your plant for you too?

transplanting causes transplant shock and the nutrients your plant needs change over its lifetime based on what it's trying to do. Foxfarm Ocean Forest is nitrogen rich and useful for the first 2-4 weeks of your plant's growth (vegetative cycle, light schedule 18/6 light/dark, or 20/4 or 24/0), but your plant needs more than nitrogen to grow well.

that you know nothing about gardening is fine, but if you ask a bunch of nonsense you're gonna get responses like Padawan's. Sure we'll help you out but posting a ridiculous question like this--and once you learn a little plant biology, you'll understand why--doesn't help anyone, including you.

short answer: no, you shouldn't just keep transplanting it into new soil. look up supersoil growing if you just want to use plain water; otherwise, you're likely going to need to 'add stuff' during any grow of any plant, especially those in containers.

one time i seen him ask somebody why there here if they have to ask that question its literally what its here for so like why are you here

You can keep it simple, just upgrade your pot size every 2 weeks. Start in a 16 ounce party cup, then move to 1 gal, then 3 gal then 5 gal, and before flipping to flower go 10 gal. Each time adding fresh soil. Ocean forest alone can and will take you from seed to chop.

yeah i agree just gef one soil and stick to it with the dirty dozen set. ypu can only get the set online if you get them individually youll end up spending 200 instead of 105 and the soil will be fine for the first 4 weeks so use the feeding schedule they have for soil (they add it in the box) and you will be percectly fine

meh, sure you can ask questions here, but for the last decade asking these kinds of questions has resulted in these kinds of responses. also, a forum isn't only for asking questions but also for engaging in collective deliberation and conversation--check out toke n' talk if you don't believe me!

Where could I look to buy non ‘plain’ water if that’s an alternative

That doesn't sound simple at all to me. That sounds like a lot of work.
