Foxfarm questions

Hope I dont get flamed as I've seen many Foxfarm posts on here but none really clear up my question so here it goes! :)

I'm going to plant outdoor and was going to mix in FFOF into a jiffy pot than plant it in the ground with the seeds. My questions are...

1) When do I start applying Big Bloom, Tiger Bloom and Grow big? ( e.g after 30 days? and which ones? ) Please be very specific and straight forward!!

2) What strength of the above nutes do I use from germination to the harvest? I read to use 1/4, 1/2... etc just want to have someone clear that up for me :)

3) How do I measure the soil PH?

This is my first grow outdoors and want to get it right, any assistance will be very appreciated. Thank you in advance!!

be careful with the grow big though cuz you can definatley fry your plants with it
I was useing Botanicare in veg then I switched to grow big and it was great! I never really burned them but I had to flush them  once or twice in veg so I did not burn them. It's great stuff, but go slow and test the waters.

Ok great that almost clears up my questions, I saw the feeding schedule already but people were saying not to follow it and use less strength than posted on the schedule, so i had to double check...

Do I follow the same pattern for tiger bloom and grow big? (1/4 strength?)

My other question remains how do i measure pH of the soil?

I use 1/4 strength at week #3 through 4 then I go up to full strength all the way throught the veg cycle. Once a week I might give them a dose of something like diamond nectar.
In 12/12 first week I give them Grow big then full strength Tiger Bloom and even more like as high as 1300ppm.

I always flush day before going 12/12
If you are useing bag soil like fox farm or roots organic don't worry about the ph in the soil, but I do recommend flushing every 30 days.

I would use Big Bloom 1 week before going into Flowering and use the Tiger Bloom while flowering. I can only tell you what I know but not specifics sorry.

Why use nutes only one week before? I use then 3 week-and 2 months more
The reason I use big bloom one week into bloom is because it takes at least that long for plant to start the flowering, so I want to have plenty of nitrogen in the leaves before the plant quits taking it up.

The reason is because you do not want to use them to early I mean I did it once and within hours my crop was dead.

I never had a problem like that? I use them every time at week #3 or 4 seeds and clones, and all the way through veg. Thats what it is a veg nute made to use through out your veg.
Is your soil too hot? Do you make it up yourself?

I use growbig like he said starting at week 3 of a seedling and week 2 of a clone. Start 1/4th and work slowly up from there. I than feed them growbig till flowers form which take 1-2 weeks of 12/12 than switch to tiger bloom and big bloom and start at 1/4th strength than next feeding bump them up to 1/2th strength.

I have never used them at full strength. I might with one of my clones to see how she does versus how I do it now.

If you follow their schedule you can not go wrong. And as said before they are very good nutes.

With a ppm meter I would have Big bloom at 900 (12-12) 2nd week through 3rd week then at 1300. until 2 weeks before harvest.
Just flush the day before 12/12 so your plants do not have any build up of old nutes/salts.

Excellent information but I'm not familiar with a lot of the terminology as this is my first grow and i am still getting my feet wet! :)

Would you please explain to me "flushing" and what do you mean by ppm? :S :S

My plan is to germinate inside the house, than keep it inside for about a week or two than do a Guerilla grow. I dont plan to use the soil thats in the ground, I wanted to buy FF to get better buds.

So let me see if I understand you Golden, Week # 3 - 4 use 1/4 strength of big bloom ( which means every OTHER time I water the crop ), as far as outdoor goes I'm not doing a lot of watering, I hear around once to twice every 2 weeks, correct me if I'm wrong.

When I start using big bloom should I mix the other 2 ( tiger bloom, grow big ) seperatly and apply them all together every other time I water?

Thank you so much for all the help (Lefty also!) and I'm sorry if I may lead you to start tearing your hair out! We all start sumwheres! :) ;)

Flushing is an indoor thing your outdoors so no worries. But it is leaching soil to release all salts and nute build ups 2 weeks before harvest for a better, smoother smoke.
Use grow big after 3 week 1/4 strength yes. Not a bloom nute.
In flower use Tiger Bloom. They will quit taking up nitrogen in bloom and focus on the P/K .

All grows must have a adequate water source. You must make sure this happens. If leaves get droopy, not enough water. And in flower this is crucial.

PPM (part Per million) it tells you how much nutes are in your water. Its about a 80+ dollars for a meter.

Let me outline this and feel free to correct me.

Doing a guerilla grow, I will use FF soil for my buds, the plan is to put the germinated seed into a jiffy pot filled with FF soil ( no preference on the size of the jiffy pot just yet, but open to suggestions? ).

After week # 3, apply 1/4 strength of big bloom and 1/4 strength of grow big EVERY OTHER time I water. Increase the strength gradually as the plant matures. ( Outdoors are watered A LOT less than indoors, any recommendations on the water cycle? )

I planned to transport the water in a backpack ( good tip on the droopy leaves! ).

Apply tiger bloom during flowering and 1/4 strength and work your way up slowly. ( I tell when its flowering when it begans producing buds correct? )

I have read journals and grow guides but none are too specific on application of nutes, most information on nutes i found very vague.

If your growing out doors, make sure they get enough water/nutes. Watch for deer, leaf hoppers/inspect leafs. Cover your tracks/don't go in same way in/out every time.
Never leave anything behind/ANYTHING.

Never fryed anything used lots of fox farms.

Veg: Use grow big full strength after the plants are a good 6 inches tall or so. Before that straight water and maybe 1/4 strength grow big once they sprout up and are starting to get stabalized and producing nodes.
Flower: Big Bloom+Tiger Bloom every water I use about a capfull of each per gallon (for the quart ones that cap is) and then I use the powdered nutrient that would go along with it. (I.E. Opensesame for first 3 of flower, beastie bloomz for next two, and cha ching until you flush.

Only feed once per week, if soil drys out inbetween just give straight water maybe a bit of compost tea.
