Foxfarm w/ chemical nutes

Is it pointless to use such a good organic potting soil like foxfarm ocean forest, and then use chemical nutrients with it? Will the salts kill all the beneficial bacteria that are present in the soil?

I am just wondering if I want to use chemical nutes, should i just plant in a medium like cocco? The nutes that I am planning to use are Jacks classics and jacks bloom.

just use fox farm nutes and soluables and you'll have no problems...

I would prefer to use jacks nutes because the are priced so low. There are people on the forum who use them with great success.
