foxtailing

Fox tailing is caused either by too much light or light leak, but has long has there not whispy and stacked tails don't worry, mine do it all the time, crowning it can also be a sign there coming to a end.

Looks lovely
Foxtails come from excessive stress in flower. Going to long, high heat never heard of light leak doing it but maybe just stressors in general in flower cause them. But there are strains that have it as a genetic trait

yeah, I just found it interesting. Im sure its genetic, this is a clone, of a clone, and its more prevalent, so Im guessing environmental factors affect the foxtailing. its got a couple days, if one gets long enough to dry and get a paper around.....
What's your environment like?

Thanks I was wondering If the side light was even worth it . I think I have made a lot of mistakes with this grow like I feel I topped to early. The plants grew for a month outside . And then spent 2 weeks at 24 hours light . Then to 18/6 for about 4 weeks and now 12/12 and it's day 19 also for the whole time until yesterday she was sharing the light with a male I removed him .

I ran one seed of that this summer too. easiest cloner ever, i flowered out the seed and one clone inside, and I have i think 5 clones out in the wild. the indoor plants stretched, i tied them down with pipe cleaners. thats my pheno anyway. very good yield, very decent smoke, kinda stoney.
Hey man I'm not sure what's going on with my clones they have some white stuff looks like goo at the bottom of the stem . 20160820_143735.jpg 20160820_143924.jpg 20160820_143735.jpg 20160820_143924.jpg

My last run (Papaya) foxtailed pretty hard on me due to some heat stress and pH swing during late flower, but I could not care less because the flower ended up coming out absolutely fantastic. I'm sure it would lessen the bag appeal in some people's eys, but I only grow for my own medicine at this point in my life so that is also not an issue for me... personally, unless it gets really spindly, I think foxtails are pretty cool.
