Fragile back at it. DIY RDWC with the things.

Put a pvc 4 way on the pole. 1 side holds the fan. Other side, put a cap on it and thread a knob head bolt into it. If you size everything right you can just tighten the knob to clamp the 4 way to the pole. I've had some pretty strong threads in PVC caps on other projects, I think it could work.

Oh ya but I’ll have to find a 4 way that has the two side arms coming out at 90 degrees to each other. But ya that’s a very clean idea, probably ideal ;)

Dont have much planned for tomorrow, maybe I'll go grab some parts and give it a go. I think if you just go a short, dry fit piece of pipe with a 90 cemented to it into the side of the + it would give you rotational adjustment that way. Probably something simple like cutting up the base and bolting it in. Will post if I do it.
 
Well I'm seeing some success so I'll share it. Just popped these seeds 5 or 6 days ago in a coco and perlite mix. Pulled them up after a few days and popped them in the cloner. Cut a few of my neoprene inserts in half to be able to hold them.
They're starting to show the first signs of good root growth. I think this might work.

Rough day outside the grow so didnt do a whole lot. Flower system is doing final peroxide flush. Got everything wiped down today.
Will trim the hell out of these tomorrow and pick 3 from each side to transplant. I think I might veg them in there for a week to flatten them out a bit then flip them.
The seedlings in the cloner are taking off just like I had hoped, this is looking like it's going to save weeks when starting from seeds.

Very nice, didn't even see any ties to the plants. You brake the branches?
Also noticed you prune them heavy, intresting to see, you promote more the branching this way?

Transplanting 6 of them to the flower tent tonight.

I typically let them grow out to 7-8 nodes them top them back to 6 and lay them down to make like a manifold. Doesnt seem to take quite as long as the H type manifolds I have played with before. I guess what I do is just a combination of LST and supercropping.
I tie the main stems to the edge of the buckets with a few inches of that green rubber coated wire. You can see it in some of the pics.
From there I supercrop all 6 branches, usually turning the bottom 2 down to run the opposite direction of the main stem.
My goal is to get a low and wide spread base to get everything thats growing straight up to be the same height. When I have all 6 branches spread out, sometimes I will top all 6 of those branches too. Didnt do that this time because my stash is empty and I didnt want to prolong it more.
Heavy defoliation is to make sure everything that I want to grow up is getting a chance to get good light. It seems to help keep the branches a bit more even and they always seem to come back stronger.

These plants are pretty hearty when they are healthy. They can take a lot of abuse and even seem to enjoy some of it. Ive just kind of loosely stuck to my plan with this crop and did whatever when I was bending them around.

mostly to give me a little more time to do some more training to spread them out a bit more before they stretch up and to ease them into the LEDs a bit.
They are already getting a good bit more light under the LEDs set at 50%
I do 18/6 under the T5s and have read that they also appreciate a softer transition to 12/12 and its easy enough to click a few pegs on my timer.

Coco and perlite in trays and gently pulled them up and put them in the cloner at around 4 days old. They were just starting to push out their first roots after the taproot when I pulled them out. Cut a few of my inserts in half and they were the perfect size.
Great thing about them being in the cloner is I havent really had to care for them at all.

Im also forgetful and lazy! I tend to forget about seedlings and let them dry out and stuff.
The faster I can get them away from needing constant care the better for me and them.
I think im going to like this method. I havent had to touch them since 4 days old.
