Franchise seeds dilemma !!!!

So a poll : from the word on the street Franchise Seeds is not labeling their genetic lineage and trying to protect their hard work from being dupped by other breeders. Should description and lineage be private ? Thoughts opinions accepted . This should be an open discussion and respect each other's viewpoints wether agree or disagree . Thanks thc .

how do i know what im buying? seems shady...

I would want to know what I'm buying. Say they have a strain called Blue Balls Magoo, one could assume at least one parent in that line is Blue Magoo, but maybe it's not even in there at all. We don't know without lineage being listed. Really the strain is Purple Monkey Balls X Blue Dream, but the breeder used a name with no lineage so we just got duped and are getting something completely different than what was expected.

Sounds like a crock of shit to me, doesn't matter what you put on paper it would be very hard for someone to imitate your work if one actually puts time and effort into their strains. Proprietary is another word for bullshit claim.

Does seem a bit redundant. How many different "northern lights" are, or Jack herers? It you got something people want, other will imitate.
