Ok....when you BACK a horse you want it to win
when you LAY a horse you want it to lose.
If you back and lay the same horse with two different bookies you break even (very important note: ensure the odds are the same)
but you had an introductory offer for a free bet
So you repeat the above steps with your free bet.
Providing the horse loses, you lose your free bet but you win your LAY bet.
You've just turned a free bet into real cash.
