Fresh Seeds

Hey Guys, i got an 8th of some dank afghan kush, it is really fresh and has a few seeds, i was just wondering is there a certain process of cultivation i must go through before a can germinate the seeds or can i just try and germinate them now..thanks in advance for any help

Just germ them, mother nature wants you to!

soak em in water for 18-24 but not longer, it activates the seeds, then put them in the medium of your choice. happy growing!

ok ...well i let 3 of them soak yesterday overnight and left 3 of them alone ...i researched it and it looks like im supposed to have a little white root coming from the bottom, none of mine have them but they all have sunk to the bottom of the bottle...should i still plant them

That's good news they sank. They are ready to plant! You will have a white tap root in a few days. All the hormones are being activated and they seed will pop.

The ones that float usually are bad. All the ones I have done this way lately have been 98% they other 2% were just bad seeds. I'll usually do it with extra bagseeds just to practice. Why throw them out when you can practice getting it down?

will it hurt the chances of survival if they have been in the water for to long mine have been in for 36 hours will they be ok?..thks for the help guys i know i am asking a lot of questions

Well that is longer then you'd really want but there still worth trying. Just think of it as practice and give it a shot. What do you have to lose? nothing but learning.

Afghan is tough as nails, you'll be happy if you get a girl to clone from. Had one I've been cloning for a while and some of her clones have been through hell, but none of them have ever hermed on me.

yeah its a great strain that i have been smokin for a while...first time grow...gunna be outside hopefully i can get one..im broke as fuck and dont wanna keep spending my money...hopefully it works
