Friend Grow in my house while I am not in the country

Hi all,

I am US citizen, but right now I am not live in the US. The house i rent i let my friend to stay so he can share the rent for me.

I just realized he grows lots weeds in my house at California.

What will happen if cops busted my house while i still outside the USA?

I have nothing to do with any of activities and i am not in the US land ever since. however would i be still consider as " conspiracy " or any criminal charges?

They'll arrest your friend, confiscate his crop, then take your house and sell it, and put out a warrant for your arrest so when you come back into the country, they'll take you in custody and charge you with the same charges as your buddy. Just because you aren't home, doesn't mean you're not responsible for the illegal activity going on too.

What is your home address? Then I can tell you for sure.

if he is growing legally and your contract does not state "no growing".. you have a battle ahead of you..

he got medical card but grow exceed, and i didn't sign any contract with him just to borrow him. guess if he got busted i won't come back to US
