I would agree with this
I got some a few months ago just because there are so many posts about how bad it is. One of the largest sellers in the country and so many people who claim it is fucked up simply because they don't use it.
After almost 5 months the only complaints I can find is that it is not reusable and despite the moisture control label it is fairly easy to over water.

A little update without pictures:
My plants have suffered some nitrogen deficiency and I'm trying to save them with my 7-3-5 fertilizer, I also bred some Lacto Bacili bacteria for my plants' digestion which took me 2 weeks so they better like it ! Still no signs of sex though =(.

Update
The Bag Seed Bastard got the boot Box is crowded anyway.
Due to construction projects and the availability of help the plants were neglected for a few days. Aurora Indica is slow but steadily growing at about 6 inches now. Pictures not very good. I was trying to feed & water as lights were shutting down.
Pineapple Kush got a couple of top leaves damaged when it grew into the lights.
All pineapples from this batch of seeds have been a bit stretchy. This one, the first female in 7 seeds, has stretched more than others that were in veg 6 weeks. It is now more than 2 feet tall. I do not want to start bending and kink stems since it has started to flower so next week I will make a cap to put on top drill a hole in its side and lay it down.

Okay guys, F you, F me, I'm so happy right now. 4 plants out of six have shown sex and they're all sugarsweet females !!! 
2 of them are also the contestants. Though I have some bad news too, the ones in the bigger pots are pretty much outgrowing my cab right now, not sure what to do about it but the little ones (contestants) fit nicely with enough headroom for growing.
And also, if my plants suffered nitrogen issues, will any of the yellowed leaves recover or will they all fall off eventually ?

Okay took shots with my fake android phone ^^
First one shows how the big one is outgrowing the box. Should I train her or would that be too much of a risk for stressing her out ? Second one shows the hair as best as it could being taken with mah phoone and the last one one of the surviving yellow leaves of a contestant. Can't afford any better fertilizer right now aswell =(, but when I get to fix some financial problems I think I might order some Canna Terra, anyone used this? Or might aswell look for a new cheap tomato fert with better npk ratio.

Update 5 Weeks from Sprout...12/12. Shorty sure is getting her FLOWER on! She's over 2ft tall 
388w CFL surrounding her...Neptunes Harvest Fish, and Fish/Seaweed. Watering about every 3 days 20oz of well water....KISS method! Looks kinda like your baby girl rebelfied.
YAY remo!!! You are lucky indeed Psyched for you!!!! I had a few lower leaves yellow on me too....it's just natures way I've learned. They'll just fall off on their own, and things should be OK.

Thanks. Went to check them today. Inch long root and already shedding the shell. Little late, but i planted it and it should pop up tomorrow, that will be from seed to seedling in just 36 hours.Sounds like a GREAT start
