More often then not as we become more skilled in anything we do and we often forget what we learned when we were new in the field and tend to be less cautious when preforming activities that we are doing on a daily basis in fact we are more likely to make a dumb mistake that we are shocked that we could of let something so stupid happen we all take short cuts and we always feel safe in are little bubbles I mean we have done it a hundred times we have it mastered right?

Unfortunately this is when that dumb mistake that you kick yourself in the ass for letting happen will happen you let your guard down and bam similar to a prison worker walking the same walk everyday and not bothering to be aware about his surrounding anymore recpie for disaster don't leave yourself open to this

Even in growing we can get this way today I made a new veg tent for my plants a bit of space expanding alright simple anuff did it a hundred times don't want to interrupt the plant cycle so I'll put them in the room while I work besides I need there light to see what I'm doing and that is when the light dropped smack dab into the middle of the canopy now I have them all super cropped and a bit of defoliation to go with it I'm a bit embarrassed to even admit this i could not believe i could have done something so stupid like that but this is why I made this thread

Feel free to leave any friendly reminders of your own that we may forget or think won't happen because we are to experienced

Preach, man. Preach, all of you. Humility's important, and knowing yourself and your weaknesses, just as important. I'm learning and committing to memory and action what you're all giving rhetoric about. Simple, human reminders and momento mori-type reminders are even more a treat than the typical basic learning regimen for growing.

Always spin the rolling tray around to make sure you have all the seeds picked up before you put the next strain on it. I had three seeds from last year's harvest that I couldn't swear what plant they were off of. I sprouted them and run them until the first killing frost. They only had one bud each, but it was better than not knowing my strains were solid.

And another seed related mishap that can be avoided by making sure the limb you are clipping buds off of really belongs to the plant you are clipping. Two plants in my CP patch were both tie downs, so they had long limbs. I now have a strain known as CP2R3. The only good thing is there was only one seed between the two plants. And they were very much alike in form, taste, smell and head.
