Friends reckons my grow isn't going well, what do you think?

yeah it will work but why waste so much time on so lil makes no sense not being negative at all just stating a fact
The light I already have in is a 6500k 30watt bulb. I was led to believe that I needed the 2700k 30watt after they begin to flower. Considering what everybody is saying I'm going to get another 2700k 30watt bulb but if it's alright to keep the 6500k on then I will, save me some cash lol.
Pretty drastic that mate. It's a weed, it will grow it's just it might not be that good. Calm down.
Yeah I was thinking about adding some tin foil around the cardboard it's surrounded in, I'll do that tomorrow. And that duct is useless, not attached to anything.

like grorite above said, he means that u will not get anything worth while off the 2 plants that cost u x amount threw electric and 3 months of time. And 24 hrs light is better for growing than 18/6. 18/6 is better for stretch, it hasnt been proven anywhere 18/6 is better than 24/0 for veg, i get what people say its not natural, but having such a controlled environment and manipulating ganja plants the way we do isnt natural either. 18/6 is more efficient due to ever rising energy cost though

Its proven that under 24/0 you get less root growth(roots grow at dark time)more roots=bigger plant= more buds!
Also 24/0 veg gives you a high male/female ratio. So instead of you guys spreading myths and info that you heard from he say she say try it yourself then comment!

Dude to be honest after reading thru this thread it's a whole bunch of Mumbo jumbo.
Its a weed all you need is light air and water it will grow. Good points would be to add some perlite to your soil,add more bulbs and add a fan.

24/7 IMO Is the way to go ! Until flowering begins on12/12. I have always had better yields this way. Peace man!

lol where is this proven?? it isnt, sure u could run comparisons detailing different light, environments and strains and see what happens. A plant during a dark period goes threw oxidation, this cause the stretch in flower where lights are 12/12, So true growth not STRETCH on a PHOTOSENSITIVE plant happens with more light time and par. Im pretty sure that 18 hrs is less than 24 or 20 so i guess LESS GROWTH. lol ur funny trying call people out n shit

Imeant to add the 2700 with the 6500. You have got to get some ventilation in there.if nothing else you can get a duct booster fan from home depot to pull the air out and have a passive intake. It only takes the plants a few minutes to use up all the c02 around the leaves so you have to have air constantly moving.

yes and no, longer light on periods make buds leafy. About 13 - 14 on for auto is the balance in flower and for veg 24/ or 20/4

The info is there just have to look for it. I first hand experienced it to know ill stick with 18/6 and not abuse of saving electricity cost lol.

Loads of info in here lol good stuff. I'm going to get a carbon filter this week in anticipation of the smell, so hopefully that'll the cover the airflow problem. I've covered the cardboard in tinfoil now, what do you reckon? this alright? Also for the light issue, I'll put the 2700k on as well when it comes on Tuesday.
