Frist Grow and Loving it

Ok I had a thread in the CFL section but decided to make this a new thread here and keep this one updated. I started out with 2 rubber maids stacked on top of each other and decided to upgrade. Here is the new and improved cabinet with updated pictures.

The flowering plant is a free seed Roadrunner. It is 4 weeks old from when I put it in a solo cup. I just started to feed it Tiger Bloom. My question for you all is can I feed it Tiger Bloom every time. I put 3 teaspoons in a gallon of water.

The next big plant is a free seed Moby Dick. I am not sure how it is going to turn out. I tired one feeding of Grow Big and it wasn't ready for it yet. It has always been droopy from the start as well. I let it get dry and feed it. I have a soil tester so I know it doesn't get to dry. It is also 4 weeks old.

The last plant is a Slyder seed. I put it in a solo cup 2 weeks ago. and then had to transplant it. I have not fed it anything yet. Was going to wait about another week or so.

The right side of the cabinet is the veg section. The left side is the flowering section. I am running 18/6 on the veg and 12/12 on the flowering. The temps stay nice. It does smell just a little with 2 DIY carbon filters and also odor killing gel. I think I smell the gel more than I do the plant. I am going to make 2 more carbon filters and try it out as well.

Hope to hear some suggestions.

Glad you're having fun- it's a great hobby that only gets more enjoyable with time. Each grow is a little different, and you get to know every plant individually. I still get excited when I start something new, or when I have 2 long weeks until harvest, or have to solve a grow problem- and I'm 60, tokin' since 1967. I'm certain that you and your new-found love will last a long time and get better with age. Happy growing and best of luck.

a bit overwatered. you can tell by the leaves... instead of being thin they are thick, tryin to hold all the water, and the cupping but nice man... may i suggest a bigger pot, but i dont know if you wanna. if you have good success at this, then i would... a lot more difficult to overwater in big pots. you can even water one half of the pot and then 2 days later the other half. this lets the roots oxygenate more wich helps growth a lot

I know it has only been 2 days but I took clones of my moby dick plant. I found a nice and easy cheap DIY cloner and am trying it out. I cut the clones last night so they have only been going for 1 day.

The flowering plant is a month old tomorrow. I am still feeding it tiger bloom and big bloom as well.

The other big plant is my Moby Dick plant. I am hoping to start flowering it at the end of the week depending if my clones take off. When I do start to flower it I am going to report it into a bigger pot.

The smaller one is my Slyder and I gave it its first taste of Grow Big nutes. Should I top this plant? I am not sure exactly if I should or not.

The last little one is my seedling. It was started the same time as my other Slyder but had some issues in the beginning. I will probably transplant it this weekend as well.

Well I know I put updates up yesterday I just had to post more pictures. Here are the lovely ladies. I watered them yesterday so they are handling the nutes nicely i think.

The clones are 2 days old. I would like to ask you all if it looks like they will make it. I am not sure how they would look if they were on their way to dying.

Any imput would be great from some experienced growers.

Clones look good..did you put them right into the medium in that cloner or did you root them first? I am going to top my plants in a few days and want to find a mother..I don't have a seperate set-up yet..I am using the same room now for veg/flower.. I looked at an airo-clone machine( I have no idea if that is the right name of it..it is sprays water on the suspended roots)..but not sure if I am ready to drop the $ on it yet.
Anyway..don't mean to run-on in your journal..

you should only need to water every 3 days or so in soil good way to test is stick your finger in the out side edge of pot as far down as u can if it's moist leave it dry water a lilttle and repeat

I put the clones right into that medium. I found a DIY post somewhere else (dont even remember where) that said to cut the clones and stick them in the vermiculite. I am hoping they work so I can put their mom into flowering.

I am watering about every 3 days as well. I am checking the soil with my soil tester and letting it get pretty dry.

Well it has been a few since my last update. Here are a few pics of what has happened since then.

The clones are still alive as of right now. I am hoping they are coming along but will have to wait and see. That is not a clone in the solo cup.

Quick question for someone. For growing the autoflower seed Roadrunner what is the total time from seed to harvest aprox? I can't find any information on this and I put this plant in a solo cup on Sept 6th so the plant is like 5 weeks old right now.

Well he is another update. The Roadrunner plant seems to be rocking. The flowers are getting bigger by the day. I am loving the crystal looking things on the one picture. It is being fed Tiger Bloom and Big Bloom. It was put into the solo cup on Sept 6th. Does anyone know how long it flowers for or how long from seed to harvest for the Roadrunner Strain.

The next picture is the Moby Dick plant and as you can see it is being LST. I also topped it a while ago as well. I am waiting for the clones to root before I kick it into flowering. The clones as you see are from a week ago. The have new growth on them even though they are looking rough. I am hoping that is a good sign. I really want to get one clone from it soon so I can flower it.

The last one is the Slyder seed. It seems to be going nicely as well. I gave it Grow Big last night. It is around 3 weeks old right now. I am not sure if it is stunted or not but i think it is looking good. I will also be taking clones from this when I can and then kicking it into flowering as well.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Here is an update. I am loving how my Roadrunner is looking. I know it is small but first first grow I didn't want to go crazy. I will upgrade my pots for the next grow for sure.

The Moby Dick I just put into flowering today. It is under six 42watt CFLs with the Roadrunner.

My Slyder I nute burned a little. I am going to take it easy on the nutes for the next few times I waer.. I will be taking clones from from it hopefully in the next week or two. Then I will put it into flowering after that. I am thinking that the last pictures are showing that it is female. Is that true or am I just seeing things?

Wow thank you for the compliment. This being my first time I was worried but I have done a lot of reading on here so this place has taught me a lot.
