O-Hi there,
I know threads JUST like this one have popped in here more than casually in the past. I have read thoroughly through the forum on how growing works, equipment and how it works and interacts with the plants, nutes, FIMing/pruning, etc etc and have used it to my advantage in several personal grows.
Now, What I'd like to know is Where can I look, or who can I talk to for a point to point breakdown on a growing system. I just want to make sure that 1) I have everything. 2) I use a system outline that works and 3)to see what I missed the last times and what I can improve on this time.
I understand that it differs depending on how it's done so let me put some variables into the system.
Hydroponics -
Bubbleponics -
Aeroponics -
Do any one of the three - Whichever ones most suitable for a 1)Closet grow and/or a 2)Basement grow.
Grow space, let us say it is 5foot in length - 3foot in width and 6.5foot in height. I would like to grow as many plants within the given specifications as possible - 6- 12 <- tell me if I'm being unreasonable and I can look on expanding the growing space for the basement choice. If you want to go with your own measurements because lets face it, basements are pretty big, or if you want to recommend getting one of those large moving boxes to put it inside as well; I'm cool with that, I'm just giving some stipulations purely for topic control, so please go wild. You guys are the pros here.
Reasonably affordable per parts would be appreciated but try to add in as much to it as possible. You can always take out components that are inherently unessential to the grow op AFTER it's on paper.
Right now I have a single plant in that space with some mylar and 400w cfl and a stationary fan pointed away from the plant to keep it cool. *the closet gets pretty hot without it.* The temperature is about 23DegreesC. Or 73 about for you imperial system kids.
Not really doing anything overly complicated about nutes or ph atm, lost half my stuff while moving. I do however have, which I am currently using a single plant hydroponic system I purchased to 'grow tomatoes' back in my youth.
It's useful, for now. I wan't to start growing some more plants once I've warmed up to everything again.
Again, bare with me if this thread is a reoccurring nuisance from the past. I'm just looking to find some helpful experts out there to bestow some wisdom upon this still ignorant fool.
