I just pickd up some seeds TGA Agent Orange and Hash Plant x Albert Walker from Archive. In the past I've growen seed to 8 in. and then veg for 3 weeks and then into flower. This time I'm going to go from seed to 6 in and then into flower to see sex then back into veg to take cuttings. Has anyone ever done this? Has it workd OK or not? Thanks for any help.

It will work, but creates funny looking growth when re-vegged, and from what I hear, it's easier and faster to just take a cutting, and flower it while leaving the plant vegging.

Yes I have. It can be a nightmare getting viable growth when "playing god" with flowering back to veg. I do not recommend this. You can allow the plant to mature enough (usually around 8 weeks veg) and it will show you sex with preflowers developing, than take the clones you need and grow these moms out with your new batch underway. Just me suggestion. ~BCbuddy420 :leaf:

I'll explain better... like Bakatare stated the process of revegging from flowering can lead to mutated growth and can be VERY time consuming. It has to do with the plants hormone changes, best to avoid this if possible!

As I'm new to growing I can't speak in experience, but I read on riu that putting the plant into flower for a bit and flipping back to veg, although time consuming, can ultimately increase yield.

Idk how much truth there is to that, look into it if interested...

I have already changed my mind. I think it's just too much to do to the plant. It's going to be best to not play god. Thank you I'm glad I ask before I did it. Some times things that sound ok in my head don't sound ok when I get some feed back. Thank you all.

Most welcome Match Box ( from when they used to sell weed in a little wooden match box for $3 ;) ) always good to hear a bunch of pros and cons, I think all cons in this case, when about to attempt something new or unknown to you.
