yeah you can you fruit, the mors the better! fruit has oils and other great goodies that your plant will love, you just use 10% fruit in your compost and throw in alot of worms! mmm worms...does a plant good, but back to the fruit, you need to let it completely compost, no fruit chunks in your soil while you grow or you will have bugs, alll sorta of bugs small bugs, big bug, bugs that eat you plants! think of you soil as an ocean, the smaller the bait the smaller the fish, you want a soil that cant feed bugs or host them, you want bacteria and fungi only, mabey some other symbiotic plants or something but dont just throw huge chunks of fruit in you compost, spend the time to chop it up! you should throw the fruit and worms in the first stage and then adjust for ph after a few months or even six months, set up multiple compost piles so you always have frest soil ready to go and it will change or vary over time, compost is not an exact science its just great randomness that decomps in to goodness for you ladies. Keep it up dude.
