First things first:
temp: 88 daytime
70 nighttime

Lights are on 18 off 6 hrs ---4 CFL bulbs at 10,800 lumens total

constant air circulation.

So with these two clones that are about three weeks old now. Can they be flowered soon? My other two unknown plants, (pictured behind) are fucking running with the flag at full speed ahead.. they are getting big and fast.

what should I do.

Hold Everything up for a few more weeks so my clones get bigger?

or

Start flowering them all now and risk getting a gram of pot per clone lol...

If you are not concerned about space the you can LST (tie down) or HST (top) your tall ones, letting the little ones catch up.

If you are cramped for space or will be, after they possibly triple in height during flower, then you can - I dont know - hope for the best. Some one else may have an idea if you dont have the lateral space for the resolution above...

I was hoping for the white widow clones to catch up. I wanted to get them to about the same height before flowering, but I might have to because my lights aren't easily configurable.

The rack that houses the plants doesnt provide me much leniency on having different sized plants. I think it would end up lighting all four plants insufficiently.
I dont know...

top the other ones. its gonna bush em out a lot but it'll help em not be quite as tall and then the WW clones wil catch up..but you should be able to start flowering clones after 4 to 5 weeks of vegging. i ran into a similar problem and topping my babies helped. good luck.

You dont need 4-5 weeks as previously stated by dankmaster.

If you need to overcome your light configuration disadvantages, you can prop of the WW up on something, and lower them as needed. Meanwhile top or tie down your others to keep them from getting too close also. This will buy you some time. You can flower after 2-3 weeks of roots if needed. My buddy goes about 3 weeks usually before he flips his lights. It makes sense for him, he has 30 plants in a 6x6x8 room. Pretty much as soon as he transplants into his areogarden he flips them. Got like 2.5 lbs last time.

I dont HST because it takes time for the plant to recoup. In your case it may be better to top them and stunt them a little here and there, then the WW will catch up.

thanks for all the responses.
1st off. No offense to those of you that top your plants. I have only dont it that way before.

Im interested to see what an undisturbed plant will give me.
im going flower them all in a week..after a dark period of 24 hours of course.

I just stuck another 3600 lumens in the room.
thats 14,400 for those of you counting. I think this grow is going to be much better :D

Just a little info for ya, the 24hrs of darkness...complete waste of your time. This does absolutely nothing for your plants. Does the earth gives plants 24hrs of darkness before gradually changing to shorter days, I don't think so. Seriously, I change them directly from 24/0 to 12/12...no problems...no shock...no issues.

I agree, just flip them to the 12/12.

Bob,

You can still LST without topping. It will distribute your plant some but you would increase your yield this way too. Not much of a reason not to do something, especially given your circumstances. But whatever...

I have experimented with just flipping them right away and having them in the dark for a while and I like to give my plants rest.

these are a lot better looking than one grown with a 150 watt HPS bulb. Seriously. fatter. Fuller. THICK stems. early BUDZ!

I just posted this a few months ago.

"It was once thought that slowly shfting the schedule to 12/12 was the best idea. One day of 16/8, 14/10, then finally 12/12. I guess the thought here was that suddenly changing to 12/12 can be a bit of a shock and slowly adjusting the schedule is easier on the plant.
Newer knowledge and practices suggest something quite different. One must first understand how cannabis’s hormonal system works before they can understand why a prolonged dark period between veg and flower will jump start the process. When the plant encounters darkness it releases hormones to signal that the flowering period is beginning. It takes a few consecutive nights of darkness before the plant realizes the pattern and the process actually begins.
By turning off the light for up to 36 hours after veg and right before you start your 12/12, you assure the plant hormonally that flowering is occurring and it will release more than enough “triggers” to start flowering a day or two early. While some think that this shocks this plant, its totally the opposite. The only thing that occurs differently is that you’ll see flowers appearing earlier than if you did it the traditional way. Save a few days at the beginning and you can start your next cycle that much sooner. Who wouldn’t want that?"
