I CANT FUCKING STAND ANYONE ON THAT SHOW OR ANYONE WHO WATCHES THIS SHOW!!!! those stupid fucks on that show arent even from jersey, i think one girl is, thats it. they are all from NY, long island or staten island. get the fuck out of jersey!!

The fact that their so serious about what they do makes it hilarious, it's just one big joke. I can see how ones stupidity can piss someone off but c'mon, when I get home from work I don't wanna do math equations, I wanna sit back, relax and laugh. The people that actually look up to those fools would still be going nowhere with or without jersey shore.

Yes, laughter is good, you're right. But I think you're missing the bigger picture. This is targeted at a specific demographic right, MTV, that's what, people from 11-19ish?

I mean, I get what you're saying, and I agree with you, freedom is the most important thing, I've always agreed with that, so regulating something like what someone watches isn't really supporting that position. But how can we just sit idly by and let people get dumber? That would be one thing if that's all it was too, but it isn't..

oh, if only. i think this is what is hanging you up. what you need to understand is that there are people far older than that who tivo this show. the problem is much bigger than some silly kids who suck at picking entertainment. there is a genuine market for this stuff among ADULTS. that is what horrifies me. people in their 30s who live vicariously through the lives of people almost 20 years their junior who are camera whores. it's not new, really. it's pretty much the definition of hollywood, it's just that modern media has 20 million extra ways to expose you to it so it seems more prevalant.
