Why not tip the pimple faced teenager busting his ass at Mcdonalds?

How about that car mechanic that just repaired your transmission?

Maybe the teacher that put some time aside especially for your children?

The doctor that finds your tumor?


All of these people to me are more deserving than your standard bitchy waitress, smacking gum and looking annoyed when she fucks up my order.


I've worked in the food industry, so don't call me unsympathetic. Most of the time, the servers that actually bust thier asses get the biggest tips. But even the laziest cooks work twice as hard.

The kid at mcdonalds gets minimum wage.

Any mechanic capable of working on a transmission is making at least 15 dollars per book hour

The teacher is making a salary

And the tumor finding doctor is also not going hungry.

However the waitress is making 3 dollars an hour, and if you think the person who busts their ass bringing you your food is "deserving" (your word) of no more than 3 dollars an hour, than you "deserve" to eat what the waitress you stiff puts in your food.

You know what, fuck that. I have never been tipped and do not expect to. If you're relying on tips to make a living maybe you should get into another line a work ad make better decisions in life so you can be qualified for better paying work. If you're already getting paid by the hour for a service I am already paying for I don't have to pay extra just because you "served" me. If a waitress hasn't realized that it's federally illegal to work for $3 an hour and could at anytime contact the Labor Department, then yeah she's one dumb bitch and shouldn't receive any tips.

Just ordered a pizza, came to $15.02

As long as it's here in less than 45 minutes, and the driver doesn't call asking for directions to my house he's getting a $3 tip.

A word of warning to disgruntled food people who want to fuck with a customer's food:

Hope that you are never caught, and if you ARE caught, hope that you are not caught by someone like my friend.

He found some dude's spit in his burger. So he emptied his drink, filled it with piss, went inside and called the guy to the counter. When the guy came over, he threw the piss in his face, told him not to fuck with people's food again.

So yeah, fuck with people's food at your own risk. Not everyone's gonna take that bullshit.

Life must be pretty easy when you know everything.

I wonder why no server has ever thought of this.

Normally I will tip 15%. Even at buffets where I notice people don't normally tip.

But I FIRMLY believe that tipping should never be required or expected.

If I am required to tip just to eat an establishment then I won't go there.

Recently I fixed two computers for an owner of a Friendly's restaurant. He treated me t o breakfast and said "Don't worry everything is on me"

Do you believe the waitress was mad I didn't tip, and she was a sh&%$%tty waitress.

I said you know what I will never eat here again, nor any other Friendly's for that matter.

If you work a job making less than minimum wage then you need to find another job. At least one that pays the minimum wage.

And furthermore I don't agree with if I can't afford a tip then I can't eat at that establishment.

What if all I have is the price of the food.

Yes I drove a cab, but I never expected tips and still treated every customer the same.

You should treat people the way you expected to be treated.

And for all those bastards out there that spit in people food and what not because of not being tipped or tipped to your satisfaction, It will come back on you.

The mechanics in CA probably make around a min. of $23.

My uncle owns a limo service company in NYC. A month or so ago, Les Paul died and had a funeral in Manhatten. My cousin drove Slash and Paul Mcartney to the funeral and afterwords all over NYC to after parties and bars all night until 5 am. he even stayed with the car and babysat Slash,s snake. After the party was over and he drove them to their hotel, Slash gave him 80 dollars and Paul handed him a 50 dollar bill. he said thanks and Paul looked at him and asked him if he had 2 20's.... I guess Slash started laughing and calling Paul a cheap bastard.... so their you have it.... one of the leaders of the best rock and roll bands of all time is a cheap s.o.b....and ignorant to boot....lol.... a 10 dollar tip...lol... its one thing to give a 10 dollar tip if your Paul, but to give a fifty and ask for 2 twenty dollar bills back???...lol....

Your a dumbass the federal minimum wage for tipped employees is under $3 an hour, look it up. Some states have laws to make it a bit higher but its mostly just enough to cover the taxes. Servers work for tips, the restaurants pay them $3 an hour so the food is cheaper, they could raise wages but I guarantee it would make your food be much more expensive than the 20% tip. IF YOUR TOO CHEAP TO TIP THEN DONT GO OUT TO EAT, GET OFF YOUR LAZY ASS AND SERVE YOURSELF!!!!

As for finding a better job, 99% of the servers are working to get through college. I wish all you cheap bastards would stop being so ignorant and know what your talking about before you run your mouths.

So you expect the driver to know where every street in your town is? I bet if I spit out a random address in your town you would have to ask someone or search on the net, especially in the housing developments. BTW most pizza shops dont have internet access, even if they have online ordering.

Wow, I didn't know the fed. min wage was under $3.

And to all you pricks saying "get a better job", most of us young
people who are in college, are working shitty jobs to fund our education
so in TIME, we CAN get better jobs. Financial aid helps, but it doesn't pay
all the bills.

Some of you act like you know what the person is doing
outside of work, as if they just sit on their asses not

Why doesn't anyone ever ask a waitress if she's in school?

First of all 15% is cheap, better than nothing, but still cheap. 20% and up is a good tip.

If you cant afford a tip then go to the grocery store, cook your food and serve yourself. Your tip is for the service and the convenience. If you cant afford the labor to fix your car but can afford the part what do you do? Fix it yourself, same thing.

Everytime you don't tip a server your taking money from them, they only have so many tables for the night.

You have no concept of what a tip is supposed to be.

You don't deserve a tip just because you're serving. You deserve a tip if you do a good job.

I tip very well, but only about half the time. If i'm ignored or the pizza is late or any number of other things that indicate you aren't doing a good job, i'm not going to tip you.

For tipped employees yes. Fed minimum wage is $7.25, minimum wage for tipped employees is $2.13, tipped employees can be anyone who receives $30 a month in tips.
