Fucked Up seed?

Okay, i had put my seeds in a glass of water, 40 hours ago.. but i shifted them frm the glass to a smaller plate, but today morning, all the water form the plate had evaporated..i then put in inside a moist towel...will it germinate now? or i fucked it and need new seeds?

And yeah, how much time does a seed take to germinate?...its already been 40 hrs

some seeds just take longer than others,,,,,, I usually do mine on a plate w/ paper towels on bottom and a few on top, then a very wet rag over that to make sure it doesnt dry out too fast.. Mine usually take about 2 to 3 days or maybe a couple more days for the stubborn ones..............

But, are u sure that they wont die or rot?
man, i dnt wanna fuck this up...

is it okay if i keep cheking the seeds?..i dunno, i jus like doing that

Checking ur seeds wont hurt them,, your going to find yourself checking these even when they sprout, then your not going to stop checking on them,,,,,,,, just give them one week,, that is more than enough time for a seed to sprout, then you may have to start from scratch... dont know if they are dead,, kinda hard to kill a seed if it hasnt shown a tap root yet, but keep tryin..................

Put them in between moist paper towels in a air tight container ( tupperware),. put them in a dark warm environment. Like on top of the TV set in the dark.

Why do these things become really important ''AFTER'' the fuck up ?
I still hope they come through for you, if not have you learned ?

put more seeds to germinate
