Fucking spider mites

My outdoor plants are 4 weeks into flowering and i found a spider mite on one of them this morning T.T , that same one i've been seeing small holes on the leaves for a couple of weeks now, and today i finally found the spider.... I flicked it off, inspected the buds for holes, and checking on the plant every 30 mins. Any suggestions for how to get rid of them? i have this pesticide for tomatoes that i used on the plants before but idk if i should since its so far into flowering; on the bottle it says it can be used til day of harvest, but i dont want to smoke no soap. Also, 5 of its big fan leaves are yellowing from the middle; i looked at the deficiency chart and it looks like manganese, but idk. Any advice?? T.T the buds looks really good so i dont want to smoke it with dead little spiders in it.photo(2).jpgphoto(1).jpgphoto.jpg

hmmm, ill just use the soap that i got then and try to get some neem oil later, just worried that the bud will mold or rot cause they barely get direct sunlight since we're hitting fall. Thanks guys =] how about the deficiency problem though, any advice on that?

I keep alot of air moving on them and spray everything heavy. I never had much luck with neem alone but I never tried just the soap. good luck.

So if you spray them do you avoid the buds or spray directly on to them
Spider mites like to hide in your buds... if you just spray the leaves you will be eliminating some but far from all. Natures predators are your best bet in flower because you don't wanna spray anything on your buds. Outdoors is tricky but if you put netting around your plants you can release 1000 or so lady bugs and they will control your infestation.Praying mantis are great predators too and eat 35x more than ladybugs. Looks like you have 2nd stage thrips in your soil that are munchin on your leaves.... spider mites don't eat foliage but immature thrips that havnt sprouted wings yet live in the soil and eat your roots when soil is dry and when you water they come out to eat foliage. so to get rid of those you can either do an insecticide soil drench or use natures predator "nematodes" that will eliminate any and all bugs in your soil.
Good luck!

If you are going to spray, you should spray at least three times, but make them 5 days apart. The life cycle of a spider mite is two weeks, so spraying 3 days apart only covers 9 days, and will kill the adults/juvies, but then in another few days, the remaining eggs will hatch and re-start the infestation. (I prefer to go with 4 apps, 5 days apart to be sure they're all gone)

&& you dont have a deficiency. Your plant could be going root bound or damaged roots but in soil it is very hard to have a deficiency. If you really are worried check your runoff pH when you water and if it is lower than 6 or higher than 7 you could have a nute lockout. Deficiencies and toxicities affect the whole plant usually not just 1 leaf, so look at the overall health rather than the look of one damaged leaf. She could just be using up the nitrogen in the foliage but i personally stick to rootbound/damaged roots

Thanks alot for the replies =] ill make sure to spray a shitload of the soap. as for the thrips, not so pleased to hear about =[ where can i get some nematodes so i can get rid of these fckers? I think its damaged roots because these plants are in 7 gal pots and barely 3ft tall so i dont think the roots went all the way down yet. Maybe ill try flushing the soil then spraying the soap. I use the liquid ph test kit and always water my plants from 5.5-6.5ph; is that too low for outdoors?

Mighty Wash by NPK. You guys can use the search button and find all the info you need on spider mites. Mighty Wash can be used until day of harvest and works better than anything I have ever used (floramite works well too, but you cannot use up until harvest)
