Full LED closet grow

Hey everyone, new to the site thought id give you my grow. First off id like to start by saying that what I have for my grow is what I have, other than throwing a couple CFLs in my flowering soon I will not be expanding. I'm aware of the light needs of my plants and also aware that my yield is extremely low due to the lights I have. I do what I can with what I got, having said that here it goes.
Veg: 50 watt grow panel LED.
4 Romulan clones in a 4 wide by 2' deep by 3' high enclosure, one intake one outtake fan and a co2 bag.
Flowering: one 90w LED ufo flowering 2 romulan clones, 2 weeks from harvest at moment. The last grow I had was low yield but extremely high potency, so I'm not too worried about that.

Can you use all your lights at the same time in the same area? I was confused if you have separate veg and flower area? I would get as much light as possible (add both LED and CFL). Look into SCROG, LST, FIM and/or top. Also I would work with less plants with your setup. 2 plant scrog covering a 2'x3' area...you would want shorter plants as well but have a nice even canopy with lots of tops.

Sorry about the confusion, I do have 2 seperate areas. My flowerings the same width and depth but 2 feet taller. Right now I'm experimenting with a topped plant, a FIM plant and a "sea of green" technique plant. So the sea of green just got put into flowering a few days ago, the other two are at 4 weeks today I think. Ill get pictures up next chance I have but I'm about to put 2 warm glow CFLs in. I'm not having a problem with quality, but with density and size.

If I were you id use both panels for flowering and forget about veg time. Go straight from seed or clone to 12/12.

A sea of green 'plant'? You mean 'plants' right? Or are you referring to a scrog (screen of green)?
Well I supercrop the plant to make it one flat topped bush, with my new set of 4 clones I have I'm doing it to all of them so I guess yeah its sea of green, I don't use a screen.

I do it in a cycle, that's the whole reason I have the 2 rooms. This really isn't my first time growing at all, this is my 3rd time with this setup, just doing it a bit different this time.

Sea of green is many small plants, like a ton, all glowered as soon as they root basically. To make up for not growing large ones, just 1 big cola basically. The problem is, it's way more efficient than any other method. I've never done it, but when I look at the comparisons, for a years grow, in thr same space, SOG kills every kind. You're not doing a SOG bromosapian, you're super cropping. :D

Ahh ok now I gotcha. That sounds like a good technique for what I have, but atm I'm pissed. Just looked in on my plants and noticed my 90w UFO is halfway burnt out. Sigh

Sog typically refers to growing lots of plants from clones strait to 12/12 with quicker turnaround and more plants to make up for lack of yield per plant. Like a 1 plant per square foot to get one main cola from each plant. Lower branching will not develop much due to space and number of plants. The light should be focused on the tops main colas of the plant so it is trimmed accordingly (remove bottom branches). If you plan on topping then your going away from SOG with longer veg times bushier plants same if your super cropping. So if you are super cropping already then look into fim as well. If your doing a perpetual continuous grow then you should take a look at the amount of time it is taking you to grow vs what your yielding and think about trying a real SOG and getting more plants in your area and harvesting more often. I hate to say it but depending on what kind of LED's you have you may be better off with just CFL's....there are only a few larger LED's worth using in flower. Lets say you have everything down, technique, environment, genetics, you still have limiting factors of space and not enough light. If you are investing all this time and effort the lighting is an easy upgrade. I know money may be an issue but if you can save it will pay for itself first couple of grows.

As I mentioned the 90W UFO is going to give you popcorn buds and little yield.....I have read many reviews and posts online regarding these lights as I am intrigued by LED as well. What I got from it was they do ok for veg but still used more a supplement lighting. Might be a perfect time to upgrade.

Ok I'm not sure if I attached the pics right, sorry about quality I took em with my phone. That bright pic is my flowering setup, 2 30 watt cfl and a 90 watt ufo LED. I just put the cfls in yesterday so they havnt made much of an impact yet. Then that's one of my plants, not totaly impressive but its weed. Haha

Yeah I read a lot and watched a lot before I bought too, but I couldn't resist the low energy use. The trade off on that part is awesome. My 50 watt does veg great, my 90 watt did really well but I think I mite be able to get an even better result if I just go buy a couple more warm glow cfls. Basically the first time I used the 90 watt for flowering 2 plants with one 25 watt T5 tube for supplement, it was great! Then after that it slowly got worse and now it took a crap. So I think I mite let this grow finish then on the next one ill just get some warm cfls to replace the ufo. The intensity of light is obviously better with the cfls.
