Thanks for information, I learned something new today. I found it quite a laborious task after about the 3rd run so was trying shortcuts.. What about just throwing an airstone in the bucket before you add the sacks and turning it off periodically? I have a bad back but also think my arms will hurt after stirring through a kilo or so. Your gold looks amazing! thanks again
 
If I had a bad back I would invest in a bubble machine but only run the thing for 3 minutes. I am sorry that most of my tutorials are labor intensive I am a hyper person and thats how I difuse my energy but I have been down myself and do understand back pain.



One huge key is cleaning the bags I have smoked good bubble that tasted like dirty laundry because people are lazy and dont take the time to clean there bags when there done.

i have bubble bags and i dont have a bad back but i dont have the patience to spend an hour mixing with a wooden spoon. i bought an eggbeater mixer attatchment for a drill and use that. dont use a normal mixer as you may tear the bag but the eggbeater mixer has no sharp edges well rounded out and you can crank that baby for about 20 minutes ill do about 5 minutes on a slower speed until the ice begins breaking down and i wear the rough edges off it then crank it to full power for 15 minutes or so, move it to the bottom of the bag every so often to make sure there aint nothin settling on the bottom of the work bag and around the edges, works great for me off bout 5 oz of trim got 17g of hash my first run and bout 12g from 4oz my second run. works well for me but if anyone has any suggestions to improve this let me know im always up for impoving methods

got a quick question what method do you use for pressing your kif into hash? ive tried several methods but my results always seem to vary slightly
 
great thread bro. i gotta say, even thou i've seen it befor, the pic of the hash melting with the mushroom cloud in post #34 is one of the best shot of meltin hash i've seen. hope ya got a straw to catch the smoke when ya melt it.lol
 
Thanks sub, used ur technique today.. like you said making sure ice is sharp makes a big difference. My ps3 won't let me attach image so I changed avatar.. contents of the 90µ after 1 pass!! I'm sure my yield will improve with practice.. Hail to the King!
 
Damn thats some good looking stuff. Never seen hash like that.
Definitely going to give a try next run. Don't think I'll mind giving up my honey oil.
 
Sub thanks for the tutorial! I can see now why my first attempt was a flop and I will try your method when I harvest.

My problem is I have a 4 bag kit it has a 230 catch bag, a 150, a 75, and a 25. Should I really just focus on the 75 and make tincture out of the rest?

great thread sub. what are you running to get the white (crack looking) hash? i did a run last night with some bluehaze clippings. came out very nice, especialy the 73. not quite as good as yours, but i'm always improving. i'll have some jtr, skunk1, and bigbud for another run in 3 weeks. hows the jtr for hash?
oh ya, thank you for your work and dedication on this site and in the general growing community. i had been looking for jc for 5-6 years and a friend told me about you and jill and your work with the strains i loved. he recomended jtr and it's been nothing but a beauty for me. thx again.
 
I got a question sub. When I use the whole plant to make hash, what do I do with the buds? Break them up with the grinder and freeze em just the same as the trim?
