Fungus gnats in flower

So I'm currently battling some fungus gnats in my tent, are there any recommendations for getting rid of them completely during flower? I have some pest strips up and they're getting them but I need to kill/stop the eggs from hatching. Also I have been letting the soil dry out as much as I can before they start getting mad and wilting on me

Microb lif, BT, mosquito control. A few drops in your water, and water it in. Very effective. You will probably have to use it till the end. And any extra soil near the room is likely infested too. Good thing the bottle will lsdt a long time. And its cheap.

Microbe lift aquarium/pond bacteria ? And you talking about the mosquito dunks? Do you use all these in conjunction with each other or will the microbe lift handle them, also what do you mean by BT? Thanks for the response btw

Microbe Lift BMC it's called. I tried it for 4 weeks. It may slow them down a little bit but it wont stop them. Nothing can stop them. They are never ending. Azamax stops them for a short time but if a few escape they come right back in 2 weeks. Azamax is NOT good to use during flower tho.

The only way I ever truly got them to die off is to remove all soil and bags of soil from my house for 30 days. Nothing growing or clones either because they find everything.

Someone in another thread said to cover your pots with stockings so the gnats can't get in. No thanks.

Gnatrol stops them for me. Order direct from the manufacturer though so you're not getting old bacteria.

Thanks man, how much do you buy at a time, like would 6 ounces be enough to eradicate them you think? I'm sure I wouldn't need all 6 just meant just to be safe in case I run into them down the road

I bought an 8oz bag like 3 years ago and just had to throw half away cause it got too old and stopped killing them. So I guess it depends how big your grow is. You use about a teaspoon per gallon with every watering for like 3 weeks to make sure they're gone cause it only kills the larvae. They should start dissapearing within a week since new ones won't live.

It should keep them away if used every watering for like 3 weeks. At least until you introduce more soil with more gnats in it or if they have another place to live like in houseplants or something.

The quickest way to get rid of them is a 1/2" layer of sand on top of the soil..
Adults can't lay eggs, larvae can't emerge..

I don't know about you but my fungus gnats love the holes in the bottom of my pots. They would make your sand into a beach and throw a party.
