hi..i have fungus gnat problem..whats the best way to kil them fast..i have sticky traps...i want to water and kll them and larvae....what ca i do

Does work however it also kills good bacteria (some anyways) but it does kill the larvae. I just let it dry until it's wilting, by then it's realllllly dry, and use the yellow sticky traps. More of a pain though. They also sell non toxic bug killers that work. I don't remember the name though.

Nematoden - these are small worms that will use the larvae for food - completely harmless to human or plant. Preferably in an organic grow as you need to have the pots damp for them to survive optimally - they last for about 6 weeks. I can image this not really workign in a root pouche when not auto-irrigating but with pots that are closed well enough its a final solution. Ofc the problem may come back as these insects can fly so that's one more reason to shield the soil as good as one can from entry and here, kieselgur and sand or clayballs on top do work as well.

Another vote for yellow stickies and Gnatrol drenches. The Gnatrol can be found in smaller quantities on eBay. The seller I use, often includes the yellow stickies as well.
Or you could go with a pyrethrin drench.

You can also get mosquito dunks at any hardware/ big box store. Break them up and soak in water overnight.
Strain, then drench the medium with it.
I have nvr had to do this, but is a widely accepted method.

When you live in Canada, our choices are limited. Our laws differ greatly for allowances in grow pest management.

Tough to get bacillus, cannot get regalia, spinosad, etc.
I scored some Captain Jack's dead bug brew last year...somehow got through customs.
Every try after, no bueno.
Cannot find a shipper willing to try, and customs are on to it anyway.

If you're in soil I would get some predators. All mine came from EWC or vermicompost, but you can buy them too. Hypoaspis miles kick ass for fungus gnats.

have in the past when I got mites for the first time ever. I went nuclear, killed the room, bugbombed 4 times in ten days, as well as multiple alcohol washes of entire flower room, veg room, then bugbombed again 2x in 6 days...implemented strict room guidelines.
Haven't seen the Borg since knock wood damnit.
Overkill? Maybe.
Mites...TOAST.
Just a shitload of work/time to do it.
Spinosad would make life much easier as we head into our warm seasons, and outdoor growing starts, and these damn pests begin emerging.
