fungus gnats....

im sure i got some gnats an was wondering a way to dry the dirt can i put it in the oven at like 350f for 5 mins?

Sure you can bake the soil. But, you will have to dry it longer than 5 min.
I Microwave my soil from 3-5 min. Depending how much soil I nuke.
I think it's more effective than baking . Because, when you bake you need to make sure the soil reaches the temp you selected.
Microwaving, penetrates deep into the soil.
Causing the water molecules to boil.

ahh okay thanks yea i noticed so far its taking longer then 5 mins forsure soil still wet some but the bugs will all die an think ima up it to 400 degrees lol got lots of dirt to do 4, 5 gal buckets full.

I use fabric pots and that stopped my Gnat problem without Nuking.

thanks. an okay yea im looking into getting new pots but for now got these 5 gals thinking of hadding more holes an cut them down lil above half so instead of 5 gal it will be 3-4 gal.
