Sticky traps for the pots and hang fly paper in the corner of your room. Keeps them under control. You will never kill them all without using poisons.

do you have super hot peppers? if so you want 5 superhot peppers mined seeds and all low simmer 140 degrees F max with 4 cups water about 20-30 min then let cool, strain out all seeds and stuff and spray the juice all over your plants and soil make sure your fans are off and eye protection even gloves are recommended. this will keep anything from growing on your plants or eating them and the plant wont even notice. jsut dont go overboard with it and repeat every 3rd to 4th day.

If you use a product with either BT or SPINOSAD as the ingredient then they aren't poisons. They're bacterias that stop the larvae feeding which stops them from moulting into the next stage of the life cycle.

Yellow traps to kill the flyers. Female fungus gnats can lay up to 300 eggs in her life time.

Caution, don't be an idiot like me and not let the water cool down after making that. I had mites and sprayed that solution on mine, but I didn't let it cool to room temp.

I killed my plants and still am kicking myself in the ass for it.

Ouch yeah i can suggest adding 6 to 8 ice cubes about a cup worth to it that would cool it fast but if you gonna use ice then leave 1 cup of water out when simmering. and all when you buy soil from anywhere bake it 250 tilll its completely dry then bake it another 25 min or so. when its cool add your nutrients to it. and you wont have any bugs in your soil.

+1 on the spinosad works well and is designed for vegetables and can be used all the till harvest 20ml per ltr. Mix with water and drench the soil. Repeat 3-4 days later and your gnats should be gone.
Good luck

"Yates sucess" btw is the one I use
