I recently drove by my old temple in Detroit which has a gigantic Star of David carved in stone on the side of the building.

The area had fallen into disrepair, the temple is beautiful and decadent, but the surrounding area is a burned out shithole. The congregation moved to West Bloomfield just in time before being engulfed by Detroit blight.
Now I'm wondering how the Star of David is represented, physically or philosophically, in the new temple, which I've only been to a few times.
