Agreed. The purple is whack. My HPS is no better. It just would be nice. :0)
Gonna be a great Thanksgiving
I hope so........but doubt it, doesn't want to show the "issues" with that big panel so close(twisted leaves/chlorosis is evident )..........prove me wrong op!!!![]()

What light related "issues" would you be referring to? Chlorosis has nothing to do with the light it's caused by a mineral deficiency such as magnesium or nitrogen. Another instance causing chlorosis would be a PH related problem and I can tell you that I have not PH'd once during this grow (water straight from the tap and mix in the nutes). As to the twisted leaves, correct me if I'm wrong here but in my experience twisted leaves happen for a couple of main reasons, the foremost being PH related issues and another being bad genetics. Obviously PH is an issue and the fact that I popped 5 femmed beans and have a variety of phenos in the mix is clearly evident that genetics could also be a contributing factor to the curl.
For my next grow with this light I will cut the plant count to 3 in this 4x4 instead of 5, employ the screen, veg two weeks less and grow a strain I am used to growing. I will PH accordingly and have 12" of distance between the light fixture and the canopy top. In case you missed my earlier posts, this is my first grow in a confined area like this, first grow with this strain and first grow using and LED. Everything taken into consideration, things are looking pretty nice and the light performs very well![]()
Being half the plant is a nice green the other half with symptoms, I would say its just the light doing that. Ph would affect the whole plant.
Just too close to the light. Not bad for the close distance your pulling actually.
Bro...we all get problems eventually. Leds can be challenging to work with. I got a friend whos a perfectionist..grows the dank. He started using using leds and all sort of funny problems started showing up

I am trying to control the calmag consumption, too. I have started spraying with calmag once a day and will also add dolomite lime to the soil. The spraying looks to be helping. I don't like going with more than double strength if I done have to.I am actually running 13 tsp per 5 gal of calmag which is over double the recommended dosage and I agree it looks like they need more but the ppm must be insane right now. I need to get a cheap ph/ppm meter mine got stepped on and I dont have $300 to replace the fukker right now. Next grow I will have this baby dialed in, I'm sure you can rock some serious shit in a space like mine using this format.
Anxious to compare results as Im one week behind you on my grow with the same exact setup except Ihave only two plants in my 4x4 under the g2.
