someone else has columbian gold? i really want to hear how that one blazes. REAL gold is what i started out smoking and it spoiled me for getting high and despising afghanis. i have one world of seeds columbian gold x NL#5 i'm going to test and breed to i'll report on. i'm hoping it has more of a trippy buzz than disappointing skunk #1 does as it's just a euphoric indica to me even if it's genetically 75% sativa.

it's really sad that one can't source pure columbian gold, panama red, acapulco gold, cambodian blackseed and others anymore. gold was REALLY trippy. unlike anything i've smoked since, it also gave one a cool lighter than air feeling like your legs were helium balloons or that you were always walking downhill. that's the buzz i've been trying to get back to for over 25 years by now. the closest i've come with a named strain so far is high quality seeds' haze x skunk which is more potent and long lasting, but not as visual and lacking in the light floaty feeling of gold.

i DID smoke someone's bud a couple years ago that i KNEW was going to be fun the second i tasted that hard to describe minty field grass flavor. i'm positive whatever it was, it had some columbian in it. it had a very similar trippy edge to it and after i got talked into clearing a tall chamber of it, it induced serious woofing and eventually room spinning nausea and "get me the fuck out of here!" paranoia because of the unbearable heavy metal from someone playing guitar hero. dude refused to hook me up with some weight a couple days later no matter how much i begged and pleaded or offered to double the price he paid for it.

if the gage green gold is nice, i'll make a point of trying it next fall. we'll see of NL5 gold is at least decent in the mean time

So another "gifted" bud that couldnt be bought.

Every post a different strain was "gifted" but wouldnt sale.

How many times have we seen him say this? 100+ times now?

Does anyone believe this at all? Names change, but story remains the same.

as to ace seeds, yeah... i've heard their IBLs are the real deal. some day i want to tackle that stuff, but my first experience with trying to grow IBLs drove me nuts when i tried growing sativa seeds' full moon highland thai. i had to transplant it twice just to get it to even flower after it got rootbound twice and even in the 2 gallon pots i put 2 of them in and after everything i started with them was finished and i was starting on a second grow did they START flowering and when they did, one of them turned tranny on one stem and i'm sure that's what sprayed a couple of the beans i got on my second grow. after that, i decided everyone that told me not to try growing real sativas indoors was mostly right. i won't try them again until i have enough time and space to give them and at least 5 gallon pots to see if i even have any females.

i'm HOPING i can get SOMETHING out of the holy smoke malawi golds i'm testing as they have less than 15 week flowering times i think and the sativa seeds' eldorados are advertised as indoor friendly, but i've already seen they like to stretch.

i WOULD like to have some top of the line IBL to smoke, but for now i'm more concerned with more practical hybrids like haze skunk. as long as a strain doesn't couchlock really, i'm happy. C99 is fine by me. it's not my favorite, but it doesn't piss me off like most shit or underwhelm me like skunk #1 & blueberry which are too stony for my tastes.

i just looked at that gage green columbian... wow! 17 weeks flowering! i bet that one runs circles around my world of seeds NL5 gold!

priority 1 is a head stash ASAP. i', working C99 x A11, C99 BX & even masterkush for that and then can let my 9 weeks+ gear do it's thing

The ace panama i did flowered 6 n a half months. could have gone on forever i think. not sure if it was a mutation of sorts, i couldn't find anyone else with any experience of one going that long. thing wasn't some 10ft beast either, short squat thing it was, but like i say dynamite. forget redbull.

as for C99 it's too racy for me gave me heart palpitations, it's a popular strain round my way. grows fast and weighty with great taste i jut wish i cared for the high a bit more.

I'm germing a couple of panama x psycho killer at the moment mix of a uk clone only and TGA's Jack the ripper. expecting it to be pretty lethal, if the pips germ they were a bit underdeveloped sadly.

I just finished a JTR grow (link in my signature) and, aside from the fact it got seeded by another plant in the room, I'm really enjoying it. The high is surprisingly clear headed compared to the description on TGA's web site. Based on a comment earlier in this thread, I'm guessing I got a Jack's Cleaner leaning pheno. Either way, it puts me in a nice calm happy place with lots of energy to get stuff done. I actually grew it for my wife and didn't even think I would like it. Turns out I like it better than she does.

we call the psycho killer lemon pledge. has two pheno's the foisty one which leans to the psychosis and the pledge side which is JTR, the foisty is a real strong body and head the pledge is a lot more heady. both nice but i'm more of an up high kinda guy.

I also won an auction for some Double Thai from ACE seeds. Anyone familiar with that one?
