No LED company want's people to know their lamps are less efficient than CFL. No LED company want's people to know their lamps are about the same as CFL, or much less efficient than HID. When technical information is missing and the company makes it difficult to find out I suspect this is the case. There's a lamp on the market called a "300" that delivers 25 par watts of light. There's another lamp on the market called a "300" that delivers about 150 par watts of light. You can say it's all experience, but when people buy an LED without doing their research and wonder why their grow is weak, it might not be their grow skills. Their plant may be very healthy and take good pictures but it's only going to do as much in the flowering stage as the light allows for.Regardless of the " tech " - point being is that whatever lights you decide on , it comes down to experience. Forget the " light mongers " that moan and groan about what's better.
