Ganja Vacation

Hey guys whats good! Coming up in a few weeks, I have a vacation to Montego Bay, Jamaica. It was a gift from a family friend
and we (Mother, Brother, Close buddy) will be staying in a 5 star hotel at the "Hotel Riu". Just wondering has anyone ever been or know someone who went?
Curious as to how the bud is, how much people pay for what on average and how the high is! I know for sure I will get ganja down there, there isnt a doubt in my mind. Im more interested
in getting some of the herb that the locals smoke themselves! Cause you know that when they see a tourist they probably think they can chop there low grade dirt weed to us and we wont know the difference.
My friend is from JA and told me not to settle for the first bud I see because I will see much much better! Im a fairly big guy and i have tha street mentality so i know how to talk to people. Im only there for a weeek
so if anyone thinks there anything i should know or any tips to know before going (any exciting excursions, or beautiful sights) then tell me before i go so i can plan out things before i leave!
Anyone have any experiences or anything to share here??? ALL input or questions are welcome here!!!

My buddy went to Jamacia and he said when you do zip lining on one of the stops in bewteen lines there was a guy there waiting to sell to the tourists. Gotta love Jamacia...

My buddy HIGHLY reccomends the zip lining... I have been myself just not in Jamacia

Yea, the way he described it is you start off on a ledge and you almost just have to run and jump off and you drop a couple feet before the line catches you. and as you fly down at times you go through parts of jungle and then come back out. Sounds pretty amazing... just might have to take a ganja vacation myself ha

Oh man it sounds awesome I am gonna have to try it when I reach over there. This trip popped up outta no where too, a very pleasant surprise.
I will def post how it was overall when i get back.. let you all know how my experience was

It's like 4000 Jamacia dollars for a pound of bud...

And I'm hearing that good medical strains are..."rare" their.
People there are having people from other countries order seeds, and send them to them.

Lots of Jamacian, and Trinidadian local buds

Wow 4000 jamaican, thats about 50 bucks US. Gotta love those prices but i doubt its high grade.
I was almost thinking of bringing seeds from a trusted seed bank here and trading them for bud there...
maybe they will bust out tha bombonic chronic then

He didn't tell me that meant $50USD...He translated it to $130USD/lb.
That's weird. But either is cheap, $50 is better.

Try to have the seeds labeled with a printed sticker or something, so they can see for sure it's really what you say it is

Yeah brotha! 800 dollars jamaican is like 7 bucks USD. Very very cheap either way which is why jamaica is the place to be
for a ganja vacation. I actually have some white widow x buddha seeds laying around, I could probably throw them in my suitcase under some
clothes and made some trades wit em!

I've been to Montego Bay. It's nice, and the weed can be good. Its all outdoor, and the guys on the street have shit. Go down on your beach after dark. There will be someone at each hotel, who kind of has a deal with the security guards to sell there. The guards keep the riff raff away. The first night, just buy a little, and tell him that you want the best he's got on reserve the next night. He will come back the next night with better weed, I promise.

The guy who worked our resort was so cool my wife and I ended up hanging out with him, and buying him beers and drinks in the evening at the beach bar. After a couple of nights hanging out, the real dank made its way to me.

Do not, under any circumstances go with anyone anywhere. This is no joke. They will take you out, and rob you, and leave you in the middle of no where. Montego Bay is not the nicest part of the island by a far cry, and thre is a lot of slums and crime, so watch your shit.

Don't buy on the street.......weed is not legal there, as many would believe. You can and will go to jail. Just deal with the guy at the hotel, on the beach, at night, and you're good.

i've been to the back country in Jomaica several times where i'm the only white person for 30 or so square miles. the same weed they sell you is the same stuff they smoke. if you're going to buy from the "locals" it is all one grade. it's ok, nothing to write home about. few of the "locals" smoke real high quality bud. the weed they all smoke should cost you $100 JAD for an eighth. which is like a $1.50 USD.

Jamacan bud sucks if your med patent"its mexican ,colombian" ... Ask for the Gum"hash" .. get sack at at a place that sells pipes ,they have reputations to keep.
I must say I like rastas and jamacian music... but dont like most Jamaican's do to the fact that I got robbed in 8 rivers..

it's true. and in the tourist areas the "local" Jamaicans are happy to take your money and insult you at the same time. that being said, i am white and i don't know if they treat black tourists similarly. and THAT being said, most people are real friendly if you are with a "local."
