Did you know that marijuana plants Trichomes mature from the top downwards.
Harvest in 1/3rds.

Take the top 1/3 then leave the plant a week or so and then harvest the 2nd 1/3 and so on.

If you harvest the whole plant by using the top 1/3rds maturity, you will find the middle and bottom of the plant are weaker... so of course, the further down the plant you go.. from the top.. the weaker (younger) the buds will be.

In Oregon you can't buy or sell marijuana but you can smoke the drug on your own property! How bizarre is that law?

The reason marijuana is illegal is because in the 30's cotton growers lobbied against hemp farmers. They thought that the hemp growing would just be competition for them. However, the argument has become the fact that marijuana is not as addictive as caffeine, alcohol and nicotine.

Today hemp is actully used for many purposes. It is primarily used in making clothing but it can also be used in other fabrications like rope.

Sterilized hemp seeds can be turned into bird seed. I wonder if that is what is in my bird feeder? It does seem to attract a lot of birds!

Pretty neat I think.. and hopefully someone read this and possible learned something new about the Cannabis culture. If so, then I did my job!

yeah and how much longer would you leave the bottom 2/3's of the plants after taking the initial top third?

thats why i harvest the top half first then the rest in 2 or 3 weeks..

and how can this be smoke in your own yard, when my brother had a bong setting on his counter and they gave him a ticket and took the bong.. they wern't even there for pot..

I don't think that is correct. I've seen some studies that mention cannabis doesn't affect dopamine levels. That's why it isn't addictive. I'll look for the link to that but I can't remember where I saw it.

That's a good method of harvesting that I like to use except I do the top 1/3 then a week or two later I do the rest. I've found that it works nicely even if your plant was fim'ed or super cropped.

after i harvest the top i hit them 2 or 3 times with the bloom nutes

ok so do a regular flush? then trim the tops, then hit with bloom a couple times?
did i get that right..

you can or you don't have to hit them again with the nutes.. up to the grower
