Garden seedlings. Light exposure 24h?

Hey everyone. I have our garden seedlings started. We sell few thousand in the spring. Trying to step up our game. I have 1200 seedlings under 440w led on a light mover. They are month old at this point and want them to stay small and stocky. Should I pump 24h light or 18/6. ? What are the benefits?

Not canabis. Tomatos, peppers, squash cucumbers etc. I start garden plants inside.

I would do 18/6 Or match the hours of daylight at the time of transplant to outdoors. My tomatoes get a little iffy on 24/0
