I too read the article and was very curious.
It claims tighter fatter buds and that the plants need rest more than a light cycle that is unlike anywhere that naturally occurs in nature.
I noticed that vegging under 18/6 causes way more growth during veg than 20/4 or 24/0. So i do believe they need a dark period to flourish.
Now the article claims that mj only needs 6 hrs to flower and that would save everyone alot of money on hydro.
