so tonight I was smoking a blunt w my boy and he mentioned that he used to grow and asked what I fed my plants. I said I use water w/ some nutes. He told me to use sugar water or gatorade. Has anyone ever tried or heard of using gatorade? It sounds crazy but in a way it makes sense giving the plant the sugars it needs.

Do you use different flavored gatorades?

I wouldn't recomend it... what. add some red bull to help it grow.
a little yager to loosen them up... might as well eat left over yeast after brewing beer...
got that one from dirty jobs...

I've used grape Gatorade,,,,with vodka,,but didn't give any to my plants:mrgreen:

gatorade works, but only if your plants are really sweaty from playing basketball.

And just to answer the question, I think it would build up salt faster in the soil but I don't know.

What is the PH of gatorade and do you have and other meters to test the nute level of it if there is one?

Yes you can. 1 cup of gatorade per gallon of water, early in the morning or when your lights come on. You can also use vitamin water, organic juice blends, grape effin soda if you wish ;) Different things work for different people. I use red bull on the last 2 weeks of flowering before flushing as to "speed them up". Maybe the red bull works, or the fact that by thinking it actually works, you alter space/time to your advantage. Either way, as long as you aint killing your cuties, feel free to try different things.

ps: 1 cup of morning urine mixed with 5 gallons of water is a great for vegging plants. You can actually go all the way thru flowering and the plant will exhibit no defficiencies.
