Really depends on what you are looking for.........fems or reg seeds, indoor or outdoor, indica or sativa, then are things like height, high THC, yield requirements, odor issues, USA or europe location, etc., etc. What are you looking for, maybe I could suggest a few.

Hey SSHZ,

Nice to see you posting, beautiful plants man, as usual. Did you just get tired of growing all the Ethos gear? or was there issues with stability? Been looking at a couple of his strains and remembered you used to grow everything Ethos, so figured id ask.

Take care man, keep up the great growing.

@SSHZ Thanks for the response. I am based in Canada but would like to try some US breeders and I seem to prefer more upbeat and clear style stones (typically sativa or hybrids over sleepy couch lock strains). I am okay with either fem or reg, growing indoor, not to worried about heights, yeilds, but more into quality of buds.

Curious about what @diggs99 is asking as well. I was looking into the multipass but wasn't sure if something like that would be worth it vs just adding a new strain every once in a while from various breeders.

Thank you!

I would sure hope that Ethos genetics were stable based on the premium price they charge for seeds.
Ya no doubt. I’ve seen a few grows go bad tho, the Mandarin cookies had a few herm issues as did a couple others. Such a small Sample size tho, it could very well have been grower error causing the issues.

sshz grew ethos for a while, would love to hear his thoughts .

I did Ethos exclusively for 2 years...........but moved on because 1) certain strains did have hermie issues, 2) not one strain hit the stated thc advertised level and most missed it by a mile, 3) Colin, the owner, is a piece of shit with a 3 page rap sheet with everything from abusing animals to beating on women and numerous gun offenses, and 4) there’s way better stuff out there to be had. Two strains were great though, Chem OG and Zsweet Inzanity and both were discontinued. The one thing I did like is they breed for weight and a lot of their stuff does come in heavy. I actually just bought their Candy Store to do in April but we’ll see.

he calls it an "expert strain " i dunno .. it all comes down to clarity between breeder and customer. I truly believe he was out for a cash grab and similar to mass medical it was for the money not the medicine.

Loupey........ check out Irie Seeds. I did their Orange Gasm (google sshz and Orange Gasm) for my thread elsewhere that currently has over 33,000 views. A great strain, and I’ll be doing their Bebop strain in a few weeks. A solid, well respected u.s based breeder mainly for sativa’s and sativa hybrids.

Regarding Ethos, if Colin is talking, than he's lying......... he reminds me of Arjan from GreenHouse Seeds. He's more of a con man/carnival barker than a real breeder. He's part of a collective, and most things are grown by others that he's in partnership with. So, he's just the promoter and not the master grower he claims to be.

I am very glad i asked for your opinion. I will be looking elsewhere, thanks SSHZ

One of the main reasons i like supporting usefulseeds, just a genuine good dude. i am just looking to add a little variety to the garden with some other breeders.

I’ll mention In-House Seeds, who has some serious fire but their beans are very expensive. Quality costs money, and you’ll get it with these, if you can afford to buy some of the best out there.

@SSHZ Great! Thank you. I was going to ask if there were some other favs you had, Any specific in-house seeds strains you have tried or would suggest?

In house has some slurricane in stock. Not exactly cheap, but for top tier genetics that’s not surprising and in comparison to some of the other “top” breeders, $250 isn’t even that bad for 10 fems of an award winner I guess.

gonna try a pack of those, thanks SSHZ
