btw, I really do want equality in justice and rights, making laws that are different based on X does not achieve ANY form of equality.

i believe in the constitution, and the constitution is clear about equal protection of the law.
you can not take away rights from gays and blacks just because a majority of people may want to.

You can't "give rights" at the expense of cancelling an individuals right to be in control their own property or body. When you do this, you are denying the right of the first individual to be left alone.
Blacks and gays have the same right to control their own body and property as anyone else. They do not have the right to control others property though or have others do it for them. However, what you do to those poor gerbils is just not right. Not right at all.

You would also have me on record as stating title II was necessary at the time because we dropped the ball in the 50's by voting against civil rights. Who led that fight against civil rights again?
