Nothing is eating them yet,I did find a funky ass bug shell clinging to a branch though,it was like a bug shed its body. I found the bug too it looked like a cross between a bee and a potatoe bug???????

Never plant two in the same hole or same pot. The root systems can get all entangled, plus when they get bigger you want them to have room to grow anyway. The root thing can become a lethal issue... basically it's just always a bad idea.

Super Skunk will definitely do well outdoors, and HOG I've never heard of but I looked it up quickly and it seemed to be the average Indica. So it's probably not best suited for outdoors, but it will certainly do fine.

One bug is nothing to worry about. When they start teaming up on you, then it's time to freak out. Well, and some bugs are actually good (ladybugs, for example), so it's not necessarily a reason to freak out.

Thank U my friend, did you see my post about using MAXSEA 16-16-16? I have been using it every watering on my older New York Diesels and they love it, they are growing about two inches a day!!!!

I didn't see it, but that's awesome. 2 inches a day is monstrous. Have you already topped them, or LST, or anything of that sort? If they're growing that vigorously I HIGHLY recommend topping them at least once while they're still in the vegetative state.

As for the nutes, a few general words of advice: 16-16-16 is completely balanced and fine. For future reference though, try to get a bit higher nitrogen (N) rating during veg (20-10-10, for instance) and then something with a higher phosphorus (P) rating during flowering (such as 10-20-10). That being said, if the 16-16-16 is working fine, then don't bother changing it! Just letting you know for future grows.

Oh and I would feed every other watering, rather than every time. That's the general convention. Over feeding is a HUGE risk, and is much more dangerous than under feeding; over feeding is a bitch to correct, whereas under feeding is easy to correct and not very hazardous to the plants. Even though they may have be doing fine with it right now, nutes can build up and cause nute burn. Consider switching to every other watering.

And I'm assuming you're giving nutes at 1/4 or 1/2 strength? If not, you probably would have already burned the hell out of them.

Keep up the good work man. Sounds like it's going really well!

Right on,thanks Kilik!!!!! Yea,I'm feeding half strength and now with your help am gonna change to every other watering!!! Someone told me that I shouldnt top my NYCD's but really didnt give a reason why........

Well in that case, listen to them. Most strains get better yields from topping, but some just inherently don't, and perhaps NYCD is one of them. I'm assuming that person had personal experience with NYCD, so I'd listen to that advice.

I have a couple Grandaddy Purp clones, got them two weeks ago. They have been outside for about six days now and dont appear to be getting any bigger! One of them had slime on the top layer of mulch the other day, there are alot of banana slugs around here. Did the slime come from a slug??? Also they are in 4 oz. red drink cups, should I put them in the ground yet??? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!!!:peace:
yes. they are most probably slug trails. check out my blog befor you put them in the ground.

New York City Diesels are starting to flower already, should I give them "Kool Bloom" or are they going to Re-Veg????

Hmm I dunno man. Could go either way. I think they should re-veg, but that's still not good. I've seen so many having this problem recently. It's really unfortunate...

Don't give them Kool Bloom yet. Wait a few weeks and see what they're up to. Re-vegging would be optimal.

Just a thought here.....From my seed browsing on various websites I feel like I remember forms of autoflower nycd.....In that case you couldnt stop or reverse it obviously.... and if I remember its only like 8 to 10 weeks from start to finish....any chance this is the case fellahs

Um yea. I would remove them and replace with new clones. Unless you don't mind having a mid-July harvest with a much smaller yield. Sorry it didn't work out for ya man.
