GDP Trich pics...am I almost ready?? Day 47 flowering

I went 11 weeks with my GDP and am happy. btw, when you have 20% amber you will still find clear trichs on some buds, the lower ones more so. You do not have all cloudy trichs if the other 20% or whatever are amber.

About trimming fans, I take some off also as I have very small tent to work with and a bunch of lights around the sides, which they touch and burn.... Lots of folks on this site get religious about leaving the fans. I would guess you get the same yield if you trim them or leave them. More light to the buds makes them plumper and taking off fans stalls the plant somewhat, depending on how fast you take them.

I agree, taking fans can and does stall the plant at times. That's exactly why I take fans at a certain times. The 6th week defoliating is done when all the plant energy is going to flowers, the flowers, in my opinion, do not stall and continue to produce as they would, only now, like you said, the lower buds start getting plump and turning color too. One of the biggest reasons I like it indoors is it really helps to keep my room humidity down, and I get much better air flow through the room. It's almost AlWAYS humid here. Anyway, not trying to piss anyone off that keeps the fans, it's just my experience and what works for me.
