General Checkup: little white spots

I've read through many of the diagnosis threads and didn't see anything which described what i'm seeing exactly.

It's not terrible, and i'm not overly concerned with the health of my plant. But if someone had a loot and could spot what might be the cause, i'd love to hear it! Thanks!

Basically, i'm seeing little white spots on new leaves. The leaves are a nice green. Underside of the leaves which have the spots look perfectly fine. Nice and soft. I don't see any bugs around either. But i haven't busted out a magnifying glass yet.

First pic is of the spots. Second gives a little growing context.

Strange. I think i have pretty good circulation. The plants are outdoors, in a large, 2 meter tall by .75 meter wide 'plastic foil greenhouse, with one dorr (1.5m w) wide upen, and a large opening in the opposite sides top upper corner. Plus other imperfection openings here and there. But, maybe it is? Anyway to know for sure if it's mildew or not?

i would wait to hear after mag. glass, otherwise it sounds like mildew. whats the humidity at / maybe its some kind of specific strain nutrient deficiency

Well, i found some information about how to prevent and possibly get rid of the mold, so i've tried it .

"2. Mix a solution of 1 teaspoon baking soda in 1 quart of warm water in a small plastic spray bottle. Add 1/2 teaspoon of either liquid dish soap or insecticidal soap to help the solution cling to the foliage. Spray infected plants thoroughly on both sides of the leaves every 5 to 10 days."

I'll start there. Seems it won't hurt them, only help if it is mold. So we'll see.

Could the white spots be symptom of anything else other than mildew?

i'll try to find a magnifying glass and double check for bugs. Does it really seem they could be there? They're really that small? man... if only everything grew without troubles, eh?

u got thrips.i had the same thing.if u look under the leaf u should see them.if u let it go the leaves will start to curl the more they spread around and eat the underside.i used dr. bronners peppermint castile soap.just a few drops per pint of water and spray the underside of the leaves.u got get on these as fast as possible

all this info is from my Marijuana garden saver book by ED Rosenthal

CRAP.I think that you're right shoal. I actually seem to remember blowing off a little guy that seems to have been a thrip. I'm going to inspect inspect inspect. Do you know if they generally are moving around during the morning / mid-day / evening / night? First time round, one learns a lot real quick. So many potential pitfalls....

SOB. Yup. This is what i'm finding. Not too many luckily. But just enough to bother the plants and me....

Problem is though.. I'm in Europe, Czech Republic to be exact. So US products won't fly. I need to find some method / product / solution to get rid of them that's available here...

looking....

yea, they're not just eating the new ones; they're getting to the older ones too. But so far, only slightly all around. I'm crushing everyone i see. I need to buy a mag.glass to check for larvae... it seems

Anyone know if they eat the buds much? or are they just damaging the leaves... causing ill-sides effects to flower growth? My plants have all just started flowering. I assume i got another month or so before they're ready; everything is outdoors.

iam not sure about the bud,but they affect the overall health of ur plant. if u let them go it will be bad news for ladys.they will kill plants if u dont kill them.

Yea, i'm working on killing them all. i was just wondering, that's all. I'm finding about 1-3 per day on average now. They're going away. I'm keeping a damn close eye on them now.

Thanks everyone for your help!
