So from what I understand autoflowers, well automatically flower (duh)! But my question is does 18 vs 24 hour light cycles matter? Can I run some right in my cloning area? Also who has the best autos, and finally if its quick like a lowryder-can it be cloned? Or is it problematic?

A guy I know keeps lights on 24/7 switching to 18/6 during flower.

He gets his beans nirvana northern lights usaully taking between 60-70 days to finish.

Great weed. Just great. He pulls 3-4 ounces per plant in 5 gallon pots using m. Grow soil and nutes.

I don't think you can clone autoflower plants.
Hope this helped

You can run them with clones. I flower them under t-5 ho's. Check out herbie's seeds they have a great selection. 24/0 will get you your best yield.

I also agree with this. More light the better.

So cloning is not possible as it produces really small yeilds? Seems like autos are way more expensive then using regular seeds?

i just posted some auto pics---they are worth your time.i have raised 32 females in the last 90 days---harvesting several every week ---27 to go.i also have photos but i like the autos better--look here these are a few of my autos-----https://www.rollitup.org/auto-flowering-strains/520542-my-autoflower-grows.html---these things are very hardy---outside at 30 degree and no damage---also very easy to make seed---easy to hide---i have tried 18/6 20/4 and 24/0 and i go with the 24/0 on the lights.these buds were grown under 2 -150 hps lights ---and outside

The thing about autoflowering plants is that they flower by time and they cannot be fooled to stay in vegetative period by turning the lights on 13 + hours a day.
This means that these ruderalis plants know how old they are and they will start flowering two to tree weeks after sprouting no matter what life cycle they receive.
Because of this autoflowering trait these plants cannot be cloned effectively. For example is you manage to take a clone from this auto-flowering cannabis plant and you manage to plant it , it will flower exactly at the same time as it’s “mother”. So as you can see autoflowering plants can be cloned but there is no point of that because you cannot set it back to the vegetative growing period and it will automatically flower and produce a harvest at the same time as the “mother” plant.
In fact autoflowering cannabis plants that we can buy these days were engineered so that we don’t need to clone them.
So what can you do if you cannot clone this plant?
You can produce seeds from female plants by pollinating them from male plants and plant them in small pots and after 2 or 3 weeks , after they have shown sex, you can remove the males and it is more effective than cloning regular strains.

how is it more effective then cloning? Couldn't a freshly rooted clone, go 12/12 asap?

Secondly, haha any place to get em cheaper they are the same price as reg seeds, uh lol I just wanted a few to run near my clone area.

But I have a question sorry to jump in. I've got some autos. 3 on 33 days from planting 30 growing. And mine are still not flowering. But I am doing them outdoor and weather is not very warm at all. That would slow it all down right?
