General Hydroponics Nutrients good?

I never need one why now?
Because when you start with nearly 0 PPM water, you know exactly whats in the mix. Calcium and Magnesium are in tap water but the amount varies, even from season to season for a lot of people running of a reservoir for municipal supply. When you know you have a consistent and clean starting point, its easy to make a mix that has the proper balance of calcium and magnesium. Too much of one and lock the other out.

one reason why using RO water is nice is that you know that your water source is not a problem. so what you put in your water could be a problem but the water itself is not an issue.

but in reality, if you can grow a houseplant with your tap water, you can grow cannabis

They are a good choice, you can however in my experience as others also mention, do without the Grow, and just use Micro and Bloom, and if you feel like it, use Ripen the last ten days.

Have a Mellow Weekend...

for something simple, start them with 3mL micro/ 6mL bloom per gallon and see how they like it. then move up to 4 micro/8 bloom and 5 micro/10 bloom. use that 1:2 ratio of micro to bloom.

Hi, I try this today: Feeding my early Flowering Plant 4ml Micro, 4ml Flora Grow 5ml Bloom / 1 Gallon..
Total EC after Mixing 1.0EC Litte low?

Clones and seedlings:- 2 ml/gal of FloraMicro, 1 ml/gal FloraGro, 1 ml/gal FloraBloom

Veg stage - 4ml/gal Flora Micro, 5 ml/gal Floragro, and 1ml/gal FloraBloom

Early Flowering - 4ml/gal FloraMicro, 3ml/gal FloraGro and 5ml/gal FloraBloom

Peak flowering - 3ml/gal FloraMicro, 1 ml/gal FloraGro and 8ml/gal FloraBloom

Flush - 2.5ml/gal of each part for three days, then FloraKleen if growing in coco coir or soil perlite mix.

I use GH three part Flora series in 50/50 coco/perlite. I use the drain to waste recipe on GH's website at roughly 1/2 strength. I use CaliMagic because I like it's Ca:Mg ratio. I also use a silica product (not GH). I keep my pH at 5.8 and I flush with tap water when I enter flower and every 2 weeks during flower to decrease retained salts. I do not flush my plants at harvest.

I also run tap water. Mine has about 250 PPM out of the tap and it is mostly Ca and Mg (tested it). I can see no reason to discard free Ca/Mg. My tap uses Chlorine which is also ok. I would not use water that had Chloramine in it and in that instance would use reverse osmosis filtration. I used an R/O filter for awhile and had no noticeable benefit.

Good luck with your grow.

I Google it last days sounds great 1:2 Ratio right only Micro and Bloom but what I do with the Grow Bottle?
With Lucas formula you generally dont use the grow bottle. I used to run Lucas but when I started growing really big plants I noticed it was lacking in the required nitrogen. Worked great for smaller sized plants in a SoG.

When shopping for such what should a guy be aware of or looking for?
Simple 50gal a day. Get a 3 stage. Avoid any more because it doesn't do much and the filters aren't cheap.
They have simple ones that you can hook to under sinks that you can easily modify to a float valve and a 55gal container up off the ground with a spot on the bottom to dispense from.

50 gal, 3 stage. Cool. I was wondering if the 5 stage 100 gal was really necessary...

the Micro, Grow, Bloom work great. Never needed to use any additives or cal mag. Perfect buds and roots. While you could get away without the Grow it's better to get it in order to get more potassium into the early growth stage this is fairly important. You can leave out the Grow towards the end. https://www.sensigarden.com/general-hydroponics-flora-series/
I'm trying to get denser buds. Koolbloom doesn't seem like its that important. More so a PK boost is all it is, right?

What's the best thing in GH line to mimic Cannas BOOST? Because PK 13/14 is literally exactly the same as KoolBloom.
