general nutes query

i have a few friends growing in tents like myself and we all have our own different ways.what im looking for are some different views from more experienced persons if possible.firstly,im watering my plants every 3 days,im using canna terra flora at a ratio of 5 ml to 1 litre of water.some friends are watering everyday,which way is best? also,my plants are in the 5th week of there lives,the buds are starting to form well now,is it to early to start using canna boost as well,i have read elsewhere on here that using bloom nutes to early can cause deficiencies of certain elements where as a friend of mine said he used the boost and the flora together almost straight after vedging.if that is to early,what week would be good to start using the canna boost as well,my last crop went on a 12 week cycle,its some sort of kush,not sure which though.anyway any pointers will be gratefully recieved! thanks

3 days is good. that the way i do it as well. plants need oxygen and if you keep your soil wet they dont get it like they should . as for your nutes you can ad the suplement to your flower nute it should hurt. just keep it low. like a table spoon per gal or some thing. get you ppm to hight , to fast could mess them up. work them up to it. also do you check you ph levels as well?

im guessing that booster is an advance nut . i use big bud and i use it 2 weeks before flushing to harvest

Hey, I just got my first ppm meter. My plants are 3 weeks into veg already. About my 6th grow, and my last on burnt to shit which is why I got the meter. I was just wondering how you would start with the ppm reading process in the middle of a grow.

Would you flush and get the lowest ppm and start nutes again? Or, would you just continue from the number your at if the plants look good? Mine seem like there's a little N deficiency, and my ppm are at like 2400. Seems kind of high, don't you think? Using all Fox Farm everything.

soil right? 2400 way to high 1500 at most. add water to bring it down. that why your plants burned no dout. if it that high i would flush and use str8 water till plants look better, then start low and raise it up from there, low to me would be in the 250 to 350 range and work it up from there. the more nutes you put in the higher the ppm and i just dont see a high ppm would help a good healthy grow. i mean how do you know how healthy your grow is if you half to give them all them nutes. dont get me wrong i use the nutes for food for plants but in general over feeding makes you fat over feed plants just kills. thats my 2 cents bro.

yea thanks for the replys,i have tested my soil ph today with a tester i bought,it says the soil is 6.7-6.9 in all the pots so im guessing this is ok.whats a good device/devices for any other tests or do i really need to bother if my soil readings are what they are? i most say i like this site a lot,lots of proper and decent advice and interesting articles,top notch!

hey man i think its good to know as much as you can from soil, water in and out, at least by knowing it make it easyer to figure out the problem at hand . checking run off water as well lest you know just how much the plants are getting. that helps me figure just how much food they need. my thought is that if you under it you can still salvage the plant over do and well you know its done. so keep it up youll get there. but im sure there is plenty good nutes out there to use no dout, the key is to feed what they like and how much to feed. I have over nuted a plant and iv grown with out nutes just to see the affects. know its alot easyer in having this site, most here will help, theres alot info here. yes great site.
