General Organics Talk

For clarification, wanted to add that chloramine would still be a no-no if you are growing organic because it would treat the bacteria in your soil just like it treats the bacteria in your water pipes.

This is my first indoor grow and it was suggested by a 20 yr vet to use sunshine 4 and GO. I got the GO box with everything in it no pics yet but will keep u guys posted

if everyones still around, do you guys agree you need to plan ahead more with organic feeding than synthetic, as itsnot available right away in organics? The microbes need to break it down to make it usable, wherein syhnthetics are more readily available, is that a fair statement?

Just looking for more input. I had some N def late in flower (abit too early for my taste) and I had trouble fixing it quick even with huge doses of grow.

im using bio-bloom and mollases. Im sure they are organic, however, whats the advantage for organic grows? can I get more bud if i use a diferent non-organic nutes?

Theres not much discussion here about General Hydroponic's new organic line, so I want to start a thread talking about these nutrients. Anybody is welcome to join and add anything about their experience using General Organics or compare to other brand of Organic nutrients.

For those with experience using this line or people that are currently using them please add 2this thread, I'm sure people would like to hear more about this newer line of organics :leaf:
my veg stage is 10 ml,bio root,10ml biothrive grow,5ml camg;2.5mlbio weed per gal i increase 1.5-2 times whats recommended and get top notch results everytime. flowering 5 ml bioroot, 5 ml camg,10mlbio thrive bloom, 2.5 ml biobud per gal and sometimes double that with out burn. i dont ever use the bio marine, diamond blk, hope this helps. peace out

Hey all,

I just bought the go box a couple days ago, and started using it a few days ago. After reading this thread (and about 30 others about the go box), I started using them yesterday. I've got a plant from bag seed that's about 7-8" tall, and three seedlings (1 Double Bubble Kush; 2 NYC Diesel). Yesterday it was time to water the seedlings, and after reading stuff about the root enhancer and diamond black (coupled with the feeding schedule on the box starting at week 1), I decided to give it a go.

I did 1/4 strength of the first week's run per the directions, and the seedlings seemed to love it! The DBK seedlings I'd spouted previously had been really fickle, but there have been only positive effects on this one. Yesterday it was 11 days from planting the ungerminated seed and 8 days from the seedling breaking the surface. It's second set of true leaves has gone from being a small nodule to looking like an actual leaf, and the existing leaves are firm, long and nicely green. As for the NYCD, they're looking really happy too. The bigger of the two has started showing a second set of true leaves, and the smaller one has growing pleasantly. Yesterday, they were 8 days from starting germination and 3 days from breaking the surface. No nute burn whatsoever.

Today, I did 1/2 strength of the week 3 run per the directions on the bag seed plant, but it's too soon to see results yet.

Btw, I ph tested the solution, and it came up at around 5.5 or so (I don't have the fancy equipment yet), but taking others' advice, I didn't mess with it. I've monitored the soil ph in all since adding the GO stuff, and it hasn't been effected. I'm growing in happy frog, cut with perlite, dolomite and plain seed starter soil for the seedlings (and the DBK seedling still popped out a bit burned), and happy frog with a bit of dolomite and perlite for the plant.

Just started general organics go box this grow with great results. Got a little nutrient burn on the first feeding but once i dialed it in and started heavy feeding for 8' or taller and light feeding for early development i am liking the results. bought 3 of the go boxs online, should be good for a grow or two.

Growing in soil right now but once i get some feminized seeds ill start clones and experimenting with GO in my hydroponic setup.

I would recommend it but what do i know this is the first grow that have used nutrients on.

the stuff is great in soil but it sucks in dwc. i sent general hydro an email about it and they said it wasn`t designed to work in a dwc and don`t recomend it. idk how it would do in other hydro systems.
