Pulled a pound off 2 plants with 2 400's, plants were 3 feet tall one in 5 gal one in 10 gal, veg time was 9 weeks.

with the right strain(s) and right technique it's doable but please don't stick 4 400's in a 4X4 tent !!!

2. Which strain do u think is the best to grow massive yields and doesn't have a long flowering time?"

1. I think it is safe to say that tenting your grow will increase the humidity no matter how well you ventilate. So, unless RH gets too high (and mold sets in) a tent would usually contribute to an atmosphere that helps your grow. I would expect a tent grow to yield more than the same grow un-tented.
2. I did a search at Attitude a while ago and tried a half-dozen or so of their "big bud" varieties. best yields came from Gigabud from G13 Labs and a Northern Lights and BigBud hybrid, called NL x BB, from World of Seeds. Both via Attitude. I have harvested both at 6 to 6 1/2 weeks flowering and yields were noticeably above average. Most of the increase was due to the top colas being gargantuan, eh? I let one GB go for 8 weeks and it had a top cola the size of a dollar bill!

Don't know if this directed at me or not ? (prolly not) but since I grow in an open room, and I mean open with light leaks and everything, I would say open is better than a tent. But I'll also say it's merely my opinion based on things I've seen over the years. I have never owned a tent or a carbon scrubber for that matter.

One of the strains in that grow I mentioned was my STP which does have Big Bud in it and Northern Lights #1 as well as several others. Here are pics ,,,,

Why the switch from hid to t5? Are you losing a lot in yield with t5s?

Phillips discontinued the CMH bulbs I was usin and I'm a spectrum whore LOL I prefer quality over quantity. When I did the grow in the pics it was a chapter in my first book where I said gonna show ya how to get a pound off 2 plants. This was all about medical plant count limits at the time. If I wanted to do it again with the T5's I could. My current grow is here,

It is called STP, stands for Stop The Pain, took me 3 years to bred her

I'm just gonna come out and finally say it, I FUCKING HATE TENTS. They are the most useless pieces of fucking shit ever. I would rather jerk off with a handful of broken glass than waste my time or a seed inside one of those things.
