General Warning public service announcement.

Just wanted to take a moment to step up on my soapbox and warn everybody I can. I went through head and neck cancer associated with HPV virus (that's what you get for always making sure she gets hers first) I had several other health problems also but had made it through cancer treatments and recovering when something took me down. Ibuprofen, believe it or not crippled me. I don't like narcotics so I had been taking the maximum SAFE dosage of Motrin or Advil for over 30 years for a severe back injury, well I bled to death twice internally from savere ulcers and had 10 transfusions, two surgeries and an embolism the body shuts down blood flow to arms and legs to try and keep your brain and heart alive. The right leg is now dead and the left leg will never be as it was. Please be careful I thought I was using a safe product since drug testing started I quit smoking and used Advil and just lived with the pain that didn't cover so I could earn a living. Even drugs on the shelf that millions of people take can do what happened to me, please be careful.

And this has what to do with growing weed?
Perhaps a monthly article for Men's Health?

Did I mention this is a topic for growing in my heading? There is no spot for general info that could help your fellow man remain on two legs.
Just don't want to see anyone hit the deck and stay there because of an item on grocery store shelves, nobody should have what happened to me if they can avoid it I'm literally crippled for the rest of my life.

Isn’t there a wellness snd health forum? Either way thanks for posting. My mom takes up to 3000 mg a day. I keep telling her to quit but her “doctor” said she could keep this up safely. She still follows this advise although that was 20 years ago!

I took ibuprofen because they started drug testing for employment with high security background no beef just ignorance on my part and thought maybe I could prevent others from the same fate.

Well looks like your thread moved to fitness and well-being, and I don’t know why these guys are being pickers. I think it’s legitimate to question why doctors are able to preach whatever they are being paid to preach, with no repercussion. It’s easy to watch.

That’s why I can’t trust any of em.

Me neither, that is why I went straight back to my roots so to speak, thanks!

Ibuprofen is known to make ulcers worse, and heavy use can cause ulcers. You should only take it as prescribed, to do otherwise invites the trouble you had. YOU SHOULD ALWAYS CONSULT A DOCTOR BEFORE ALTERING THE PRESCRIPTION OF ANY DRUG INCLUDING OVER THE COUNTER.

Which should actually be the topic of this thread rather than blaming a drug that works for millions without issues.

You're assuming I took the medication in a manner other than which it was meant to be and you are wrong.

No actually, you're assuming a whole hell of a lot.

Now, smart people, usually read and do some research about the drug they are taking before they take it, and it fucks them up.

Get a clue, pal.
